This is how I ended up bringing my skateboard on the plane: attached to my suitcase and checked as baggage; trucks and wheels inside the suitcase, and the board wrapped separately. Always careful to keep the weight under the limit so they don't overcharge 🥴

Even better than I expected. It made me want to read more about Heracles, maybe Robert Graves for starters.

There's a dam just around that bend in the river so it's not quite the free flowing river the ancients were use to seeing. It is a big 1200 mile long river though and at this point it is about 100 plus miles from meeting the ocean.
My mother-in-law prepared a free-range chicken. We all ate, and it had been a long time since my wife had eaten food cooked by her mother.

Eu li agora pouco. Até escrevi um post sobre isso, poque o projeto Helios foi pro limbo também (nessa parte de pagamentos em HIVE líquidos).
São 2 projetos diferentes, o helios tinha um sistema antigamente de vc enviar tokens para eles e eles votavam em seus posts, depois ficou apenas com os pagamentos em hive por delegação se nao me engano. O liotes é outro projeto e segue a todo vapor.

It is just a short lived pump I would guess. I suspect we will go lower in 2026 because we have a lot of people extracting and there is still a lot of accounts that just post nonsense to farm the reward pool.

The other day on the podcast, @grampo said something that has been living in my head rent free. Hive is a subscription model. I think he's onto something there. It is, and as such, you are "entitled" to curation I guess. But the author rewards, I think that's not part of it.
I think that analogy is pretty good. They are called rewards though.
I think assuming anyone is "entitled" to anything creates a false sense of security.
I do believe if people thought in terms of HIVE instead of dollars that would "fix" a lot if things here.

That's why I'm waiting to stream... theaters are too crappy to be able to see the film. The projectors are always too dark, and the volume is too loud and distorted. I haven't actually been able to see or hear a movie in a theater for decades.
