At the grassroot level of gymnastics that I work at we pay it if you're able to stick your landing for 3s before falling so that counts as far as I'm concerned ;D are you okay?
Nah my partner was (stopped because knees). I did do a tiny bit but was mostly an inline skater (stopped because time :<). We still have our skaties.
Over the last few days, we’ve been making SkateHive smoother, faster, and easier to explore.
We’ve been improving how bounties show up in the app, making it easier to browse what is active, what has already passed, and how Hive + POIDH activity connects in one place. This part is still a work in progress, but it is moving in a strong direction.
We also improved reliability behind the scenes by reducing rate-limit issues, cleaning up data fetching, and upgrading some of the infrastructure that powers NFTs and onchain content.
On the app side, we cleaned up rough edges, fixed build blockers, continued UI/dialog improvements, and pushed SEO and discovery upgrades for pages like /map and /skaters.
More progress coming soon.
For devs: most of this work was under-the-hood hardening.
We’ve been iterating on POIDH v3 bounty integration, skate-only filtering, active/past states, and a more consolidated Hive + POIDH flow. That part is not finished yet, but the architecture and data handling are in much better shape now.
We also reduced rate-limit pressure, improved fetch ordering, skipped reverted bounty states, added RPC safeguards, moved some flows to API routes to avoid CORS issues, and upgraded NFT-related infrastructure from Basescan to Alchemy.
On top of that, we removed dead code, continued the SkateDialog migration, fixed build blockers, and shipped SEO/discovery improvements around /map, sitemap coverage, and /skaters.

The instrument was Yaybahar.
Invented in 2014, by Turkish musician Görkem Şen. A string instrument with long metal springs to transmit vibrations to drum membranes, creating a deep natural reverb without electronics.

We got a bit more. The roads were finally covered with an inch or so of slush. Then it turned to rain. Now we have strong, cold winds as the weather front sweeps through.

My first go at HiveWord,I like it!
Fire alarms are quite annoying. Had to wait almost half an hour in the dark office until it got shut down. It got hot pretty quickly after air conditioner went off.
