Hello my dear Hivers 🌸.
We celebrated our 4th year anniversary last Monday and we had our dinner date at Kalye Ecija Steak House location on our town proper which is Cabiao Nueva Ecija.
Kalye Ecija is a 2 months old restaurant that's serves an affordable steak They have different stake like Ribeye steak , chicken steak , tbone steak and porterhouse steak. They also serving sizzling sisig , Hungarian sausage, beef pares and giga trio consist of french fries , nachos and calamares. Aside from this they are also serving drink and others beverages. As you can see in the menu their price are very affordable. Price starts at 89 pesos to 249 pesos.
I really want to try eating their steak before because of the good reviews but I had no chance of coming just this last Monday when my husband asked me on a dinner date because it's our 4th year anniversary.
This is what the inside looks like. It's is simple an minimalist one and I really love the combination and the very classic effect of the color.
This is a self order restaurant and you need to pay first on the counter. We ordered porterhouse steak but it's sold out already thats why the staff recommend ribeye steak which has the same price with the porterhouse steak. We only ordered two ribeye steak and just choose water as our drinks. While waiting for our food we took a selfie for remembrance.
This is what we ordered. It's my second time to try a steak. The first one I've tried was when I am working in Makati and it's baby back rib steak.
The beef is good but I am not a fan of steak as I don't want a food with blood huhu. I appreciate the authentic taste of the beef and the buttery taste of gravy. I was having a hard time chewing the meet because it's not tender maybe because of the quality of meat because it's affordable.
After we finished eating my husband asked me if we will go back again to eat there. Well maybe yes or maybe no. We never know 😸
