That apple pie looks delicious and just looking at it doesn't give away that it has pumpkin as an ingredient, I think that's what caught my eye. It's interesting to know that the pumpkin doesn't add its flavour to the apple pie, only filling. I think it's a dessert that my mother would love, especially with the apple cider that she loves. It seems to have a smooth texture and in the mouth it would be a delicacy. I usually make apple pies or puddings but not like this and I think it looks great.
The other detail you mentioned is that it is eaten with ice cream, although on this occasion they didn't get to be together. But that combination is something I have to try. My question is what ice cream is best for this recipe. I loved the preparation, the ingredients are easy to get and best of all the magistras presentation that you always have. Excellent! Ese pie de manzana se ve delicioso y el sólo verlo no delata que tenga como ingrediente calabaza, creo que eso me ha llamado la atención. Es interesante saber que la calabaza no le agrega su sabor al pie de manzana, sino sólo relleno. Creo que es un postre que le encantaría a mi madre sobre todo por la sidra de manzana que le encanta. Parece tener una textura suave y que en la boca sería un manjar. Suelo hacer tortas de manzanas o budines pero no de esta forma y me parece genial.
El otro detalle que mencionaste es que se come con helado, aunque en esta oportunidad no llegaron a estar juntos. Pero esa combinación es algo que debo probar. Mi pregunta es que helado es mejor para esta receta. Me ha encantado la preparación, los ingredientes son sencillos de conseguir y lo mejor de todo la magistral presentación que siempre tienes.
