Final dish of 3 from an Indian inspired menu for an even was this dish that u made and called it— Fish in a Boat.
It was an appetizer dish made from Kyuri that is split in the middle and the seeds cored out then stuffed with a Tuna & Egg Salad topped with thinly sliced Poached Beetroot that was gently cooked in a spiced bath.
The dish is then drizzled with Masala Ranch and a sweet Tamarind Drizzle, finished off with Black Raisins, Parmesan cheese, and freshly chopped chives.
Here are 3 different platings and the last one being the final choice of plating. Turned out pretty good and those that order this did have positive feedbacks.
Not a bad dish taste wise but I'd definitely change the tuna with fresh cubes of tuna next time and change the cheese to a slice of aged cheddar which I think would be better flavors and a more refined dish.
