Hello hivers, an happy Saturday to you all! Another sunny warm day here and I started my day drinking a coffee with my friend Elena. She came to my home to spend a little time together chatting and playing with my cats (she is a cat lover like me 😁 ). It was a nice way to start the weekend. ❤️
Before she arrived here, like I do every day (weekend inclued), I worked a little with my brushes and colors. I felt the need to understand if an idea I had in my mind could work on a painting and so I worked on a small scraps of paper. As my hubby uses to say (it's a quote from a famous artist, but I don't remember the name): an artist, sometimes, feel the need to paint just to see in real a scene he/she has in his/her mind.
In the following pics you can see the final result:
As you can see, I used some different shades od red on the up side and some different shades of blue on the down side. After I added the different elelments. To be honest, I think the final result is not so bad. 😊
It's an oil colors painting on 200 gsm paper in A6 size and, like I use to do when I show you a new artwork, I took some pics while I was painting it so you can see the process too:
