Gratin Dauphinois is more than a dish. It is an invitation to enjoy life's small pleasures, those that are cooked slowly and savored with joy and gratitude, @avdesing. This dish took 20 minutes to simmer in the cream, one hour to cook in the oven, and 15 minutes to prep. I usually make it with Coq au Vin and the recipe is HERE.
