This nervous and excited makes the hunger disappear. And after the nervous is gone, this tofu can make me happier and more relieved
Today I feel nervous and nervous, because my students will perform in an art performance. My hands feel cold and my heart is really beating fast waiting for them to perform. Will they be able to perform well? Indeed, for kindergarten children, they dare to perform on stage without crying, that is a good achievement, but I want my students to perform well according to what I have taught them. For two weeks I taught them to dance, to fulfill an invitation from the art community to perform with several elementary schools and kindergartens in my small town. I want my students to be able to perform well and be confident. So for these 2 weeks I have tried to teach them to dance well and dare to perform.
And finally I really felt relieved and happy, even to the point of shedding tears because my students performed very confidently and danced very well, the applause from the audience made me even more proud of my beloved students. And they came down from the stage with pride and hugged me, I was really touched and thanked them for giving their best performance.
This art performance was held in a cafe, so after they performed, my fellow teachers and I immediately ordered coffee and snacks because we were actually feeling a little hungry, but because we felt tense waiting for my students to perform, we were not enthusiastic about eating. After they performed and we felt relieved, we celebrated by ordering coffee and snacks. And it turned out that the snacks I ordered tasted delicious and filling.
I ordered tofu balek, tofu filled with savory and crispy meatballs. Why is it called tofu balek, because the way to cook the tofu is a little different. The tofu is split then turned over, the outer skin becomes inside and the inside becomes outside, then filled with meatball dough, then steamed until the meatball dough is completely cooked after that fried and served with spicy tomato sauce.
It tastes really delicious, savory and crispy. Oh yes, the tofu used for this tofu balek is not like regular tofu. This tofu is not solid, the inside is empty so when fried the tofu becomes crispy. We call it pong tofu. Usually we fill this tofu with various vegetables, but this time the tofu is filled with meatball dough. I really like this tofu balek filled with meatballs, eaten without chili sauce is also delicious. Especially when combined with this hot coffee. It really makes my heart relieved.
I was really happy that day, so my hunger was gone. But this tofu balek added to my complete happiness and a glass of coffee made my heart calmer.
