cook mackerel with Sambalado

Mackerel is a fish with a high protein content, number one in Indonesia. Besides salmon, this cheaper version is just as nutritious as salmon, but this is a more affordable version. If you can't afford salmon because of the price, then you should look for mackerel. This fish is delicious cooked in any way. Usually, at my mom's house, it's fried and then cooked in fermented soybean paste with green chilies. But today, I'm going to try making mackerel with a super delicious chili sauce.

Mackerel cooked like this is truly appetizing, friends.Since ancient times, my grandmother and mother have really liked fish cooked in Sambalado like this, they like all fish, while I will choose which fish is good to cook in Sambalado, because in my opinion not all fish are suitable for cooking in Sambalado,

Because these past few days I haven't had time to cook at home, I also haven't bought any food ingredients because I have a bit of work at the office that I have to finish in the past few days, as a result I keep buying food outside and today I have finished the work so I went straight to the market to buy 1 kilogram of mackerel to cook samballado like this

I'm curious about how I cook this fish in a simple and easy way, my friend, but who would have thought it would taste so delicious, it would be delicious eaten with white rice.


Materials used

1 kg mackerel
1 tomato
5 shallots
2 cloves garlic
1 ounce red chili
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp stock
1/2 tsp sugar


Manufacturing procedure


First


I put the tomatoes, chilies and onions in a blender and blended the spices until smooth, then set them aside.

I then fried the fish until dry.

Next, I cook the spices that I have ground in hot oil.

I don't forget to add sugar, salt and seasoning, then I cook until the chili sauce releases oil

After the chili sauce is cooked, I put in the fish. I cook it for 1 minute, then I stir it until the spices are evenly mixed with the fish.

and here is the result, the mackerel with samballado is ready to be enjoyed, I deliberately fried the fish until it is crispy so that it will be more delicious when we eat it. because if the fish is not fried dry when we mix it with the chili sauce, the fish will be soft, so I suggest frying the fish until it is crispy, okay?
