Turning Boring Leftover Fried Fish Into Something Oh So Yummy: Fish Patties But Mama Thought It Is Porky -Serve It With Special Suka!

Last Thursday, I went to the market alone because when I checked Mama downstairs, in her house, she's not answering so meaning to say, she's gone somewhere. Then I remember that's the day she withdraw her monthly pension. And because I don't like waiting, and I'm also in a hurry coz I had to buy meds for stomachache for the oldies, and so I went there alone.

...and in this kind of weather, but that's no problem to me. Its 7:53 am, so early no? But I had too, the oldies need the meds. Ehe

First thing I did of course was to buy the medicines. As a very forgetful person, I always made sure to prioritize the most important things so that I won't forget it. I also buy my meds btw.

Now, another reason I had to visit the market was to buy the ingredients I need for the dish that's i'm planning to make.

And what's that important ingredient? Its the Carrot. We have here a leftover fried fish that the oldies think the cause of Mommy D's stomachache. But I just don't agree coz its fried. And I think, its coz Mommy F put lots of milk powder on her breakfast that she got "that." I noticed how much she put in her mug, its too much! Even for me. ಥ‿ಥ Aigoooo

But NVM that, she's okay now too. So back to the recipe I want to share!

We have here the shredded fried fish, one whole carrot -probably 90 to 100 grams, medium sized red onion, 5 cloves of garlic, the more the better, pepper, salt, MSG, water, and flour

So peeling all the needs a peeling is the next step. And coz i'm using manual food processor here, I cut everything into small sizes. But I had to cute the carrots into even small size coz the blade had a hard time processing it. But after that was a smooth pulling and putting. The blades really are sharp

Five minutes later and it was finally and beautifully minced to perfection. Just how I want it to be.

Next is preparing the batter mixture, its just the combination of flour, salt, MSG, water, and pepper. I think i Put 15 tablespoon of flour in there. For the water I added it gradually until I got the thickness that I want for it. It should be thicker coz the carrot will get so watery later for sure

Next is putting the minced carrots and aromatic and the fried fish that I fried again. I actually didn't put egg in it and just flour.

Its cooking time!

I know, I know, the oil is kinda...nyaaaaah! Haha. But this is just the second time i'll be cooking at it. It'd be a waste if I throw them away. Its just a burn oil coz of the fish ƪ(‾.‾“)┐. And so yeah, I got just a spoonful of the mixture before dropping it to the boiling oil.

And minutes later, it's finally done. Crispy in the edges and soft inside. Just like how I want it. I put them in a plate with tissues to absorb the oil.

I also tried one to check if the taste is okay and man, I LOVE IT! Hahaha. I also gave some to mama and I also asked her what's her verdict or if she taste the fish in it. But she said, she though it is porky, hoyaaaaa ಥ‿ಥ, naniiii ♪ \(^ω^\ ), why that's a very nice compliment, hihi. I'm happy. Hihi..to double that happiness, I made special vinegar to dip it and it has managed garlic and onion.. perfect ෆ╹ .̮ ╹ෆ

I am so satisfied with this, seriously. Now, I am thinking on making Chicken Siomai next time. I think that one is easier and I don't need to use lots more ingredients. Let see if I will be able to make some soon. UwU
