Oh wow, you've been to Wells! My hub's new stepdad lives there. It was our local market town when we lived in Somerset and as Jamie's mum lives not too far from there (fifteen minutes) we often go to Wells market on a Saturday (great little market - french cheeses, olives, etc) or to the supermarket or out for dinner or charity shopping. We have spent a LOT of time in Wells! Last time, however, was the first time I'd been in the cathedral, which has an aboslutely fascinating history and is an incredible place. Funnily enough, I just mentioned the swans in the Bishop's Palace in my last post. The gardens are lovely. It's very much 'home' for us when we're in the UK. There's some great walks in the area too. Glastonbury, Wells, Bath - that's all 'our' part of England.
