I just took some cuttings from my butterfly bush and chocolate mint plant and put them in water to grow roots. Let's see if I can multiply those too.
First time I've seen #HivePulse - I like it ! Just a suggestion for those of us with chaotic lives; is it possible to set a weekly target for posts rather than a daily one ? I tend to go onto Hive in concentrated bursts 2-3 times a week rather than daily.
As the weekly output can vary from user to user, you can still use fractions per day to get there (like 0.5 or so). I can enable weekly input, but as I calculate the others intervals, we would still end up with fractions for daily periods. But that would increase usability.
Ah, got it - that works perfectly ! Memo so self.... learn functionality fully before jumping in and thinking something isn't there :D

It was a very heavy day.
Been very busy for the past two days, went for a conference. Still AFK but sharing thoughts where needed and trying to engage in snap as much as I can.

Is it only searching via the name people give to the meme? I have the impression it is and does not take into account the tags, I think...?
Either way, I think the expectation from human beings is to search for the "motive" of the meme, and then stuff appears. 🤔
For example, I am sure I have added this one... Searching for tags could lead to misleading results too, but as a second priority, it might get people more results?

I think that being able to size the text box without the word arrangement changing would be a beneficial feature and being able to spin the text box so that being able to fix the text at different angles would allow us to add text to areas in the meme that are not fully horizontal or vertical, like skewed squares. Also, the search leaves much to be desired. I tried searching my own templates where I knew the exact title name and tags used, but the one I wanted never showed in the results. The funny thing is when I typed in the title it never showed up, so I started typing in each word of the title by itself and none showed the template until I tried the last word in it. So, just typing in the last word of a title would bring up the template wanted, but no other word in the title or even a specific tag would. This means that the current search is pretty much worthless

Oh and how about throwing a label on Hive Original template thumbnails, so people can choose to support original creators over those created elsewhere and make them easy to identify? Another way to do that would be to add a tab for them, like the Recently Added or Most Used tabs.
I just did and one test did find what I wanted, but did not give me all the results available. The second test failed miserably. Ex-I start by typing a letter. Theory, results should contain all the templates whose titles and tags begin begin with a Y. When typing Y the default results shown when Decent Memes is opened did not change. When I expanded it to Yin it did give me fewer results and one result that I know has the word Yin in the title or tags. The others I don't think were related.
Next I tried Z and got quite a few results, one I know for sure had a title or tag beginning with a Z, but other options in the results I don't think that's the case. When I expanded that search to the word Zen, which I know there are multiple templates with that tag the results returned "no templates found".
I just tried letter Z and then Zen again and the results were better, but I still think incomplete. Zen returned 2 results, my waterfall gif and a flower gif, but I think my original template with the Cairn was tagged as Zen, but did not show up in the results

Did a follow up test using the letter C for Cairn, which did not show up in the results, but when I typed out Cairn it was the only result, which is a fail then a pass

I did one more follow up test and when I typed C it gives me Cat as suggestion, so I type CA and still only Cat. When I type CAI my Cairn template shows up as the only option. The only optimization would be to have more suggestions as you're typing in search.

Why is the word "I'm sorry" so hard for some people to say. Should we call it pride or as simple as it is, it's just so hard for some people.
Imagine someone saying she doesn't know how to say she is sorry because she has never felt sorry for anything.
A real apology requires humility and some individuals just can’t do that. Sometimes pride gets in the way, and sometimes it just looks like they are too arrogant to admit that they are wrong. Apologizing [for mistakes] doesn’t show weakness. If anything it showed maturity and respect for their prey.
That is just so bad... Like, she doesn't know how to say Sorry? Meaning all what she does is correct, she has always been right and never felt sorry for anything.
Well, those kind of people are not the type to relate with, just keep your distance. I don't know if it is pride...

It's all pride. Nothing more, they just feel they're to special, and above your level, so why would say "I'm sorry" to someone they feel looks less than them? Pride is just eating sure people up.

I'm someone who knows when I'm right but simply misunderstood or in the wrong and then, bring myself to apologise.
But I've also had cases when I found it hard to verbally render an apology, but rather do so through my actions. By being remorseful, I mean.
