Purple Sweet Potato with Cheese Fla

Ingredients

300 grams purple sweet potatoes
200 ml milk
3 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon cornstarch
50 grams cheddar cheese
Salt to taste




Instructions


Step 1


I peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into small pieces, then boil them in boiling water until they’re completely tender. Drain them.

While the sweet potatoes were still hot, I mashed them by hand until they were completely smooth.

Add the sweetened condensed milk and stir until well combined. Add just a pinch of salt, stir until evenly distributed, and transfer to a bowl.

Next, to make the custard, mix the milk with the grated Cheddar cheese, then heat the mixture.

Cook over medium heat; once the cheese has melted somewhat, add the cornstarch that has been dissolved in water. Stir constantly to prevent lumps.

This is the first time I've seen a purple sweet potato! In Siberia, all we have is just potatoes, haha. When I first saw the photos, I thought there beetroot.
