Tuesday night, my husband flew to Tacloban for a work errand. Good thing that it was just for one day. Our kid will not be sepanxed for too long.
Last night we picked him up at the airport. The flight was just a few minutes delayed for some reason, and the plane landed at 7:30pm.
We decided to have dinner on our way home. While deciding whether to order takeout, I thought maybe we can go dine in at Dubby’s Ultimate Burgers in Mandaue, as it was just nearby.
Dubby’s is a diner that hires people with disabilities. It was really nice to know that there are still businesses that hire such people. Imagine the struggle of finding a job for people with disabilities. These types of businesses should be extremely supported.
I ordered chicken nuggets for SasaGorl, a burger for me and my husband, and a salad and rice meal for my in-laws. The staff still did a great job accommodating us and taking our orders.
While we wait for our orders to be served, I brought paper and pencil for SasaGorl so she can have something to be busy with. She likes to draw.
It’s a quiet place to dine in and relaxing. You can also enjoy their retro displays for car plates, bikes, sports photos, or medals.
I enjoyed the burger. It was so juicy!
Happy Wednesday indeed.
