Recipe: Exquisite warm salad with red cabbage - Receta: Exquisita ensalada tibia con col morada. 🥗❤️

Hello friends, this time I'm sharing a delicious warm red cabbage salad, perfect for pairing with various meats. 🥗

Hola amigos en esta oportunidad les comparto una riquísima ensalada tibia de col morada (col lombarda), muy apropiada para acompañar con diferentes carnes. 🥗

🥗 Ingredients:

1/4 red cabbage.
1 carrot.
1/2 onion.
A few sprigs of cilantro.
Lettuce leaves.
Oil as needed.
1 tablespoon margarine.

🥗 Ingredientes:

1/4 de repollo morado.
1 zanahoria.
1/2 cebolla.
Unas ramas de cilantro.
Hojas de lechuga.
Aceite el necesario.
1 cucharada de margarina.

🥗 Preparation:

Start by washing and finely chopping the cabbage. Then, place it in a deep bowl and add 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Cover with enough hot water for a few minutes. Then, strain and set aside.

Julienne the onion, peel and slice the carrot with a peeler, chop the cilantro finely, and chop the lettuce into medium-sized pieces.

Heat a pan, add oil and margarine, and begin to sauté the onion. Then, add the carrot and continue to sauté for a bit. Add the cabbage or red cabbage and mix well. Add salt until tender. Finally, add the lettuce and cilantro. Remove from heat. I served this salad with white rice and a chicken leg with salsa and cooked corn.

🥗 Preparación:

Comenzaré lavando y cortamos muy fino el repollo, luego lo colocamos en un recipiente hondo y le agregamos 1 cucharadita de bicarbonato y lo cubrimos con suficiente agua caliente unos minutos luego lo colamos y lo reservamos.

Cortamos la cebolla en juliana, la zanahoria la pelamos y la rebanamos con el pelador, el cilantro lo cortamos pequeñito y la lechuga en trozos no tan pequeños.

Calentamos una sartén y le colocamos aceite, margarina y empezamos a sofreír la cebolla, luego agregamos la zanahoria y seguimos sofriendo un poco agregamos el repollo o col morada y mezclamos bien colocamos sal hasta que tome su punto y por último la lechuga y el cilantro y retiramos del fuego, está ensalada yo la acompañe con un arroz blanco y una piernita de pollo con salsa y maicitos cocidos.

Dear friends, this is an exquisite dish. I admit I had never tried it before. It was my first time preparing and tasting it, but I was very satisfied with the result.
