Hello good day everyoneee!! i hope you are doing well.
For today's blog i will be sharing how i make my Chicken Tandoori with Jeera Aloo
first we have to prepare all the ingredients chicken, garam masala, turmeric powder, curd, white onion, cumin powder, potato, salt, ginger garlic paste, butter, and chilli powder.
In a bowl marinate the chicken with cumin powder, salt, curd, chilli powder, turmeric powder, Ginger garlic paste, and garam masala i made sure to put a lot of seasoning and spices because it is an indian dish. i marinated it for 20 minutes.
While i am marinating it i get the potato and started peeling it. After peeling i cut it into cubes and i soak it in the baking pan with a water. I have no bowls left lol that's why i use baking pan.
20 minutes have passed when i get the frying pan and put it in the stove, i put butter and a little bit of oil i let the oil hot for a while and i put the marinated chicken on it. I cooked it until it's a bit burnt since Chicken tandoori is like a grilled chicken when it is cooked.
After cooking the chicken i get the plate and put the chicken and i get the charcoal and burn it in the stove after that i get a very small bowl to put the charcoal and i placed it beside the chicken and cover the pan so that the smoke of the charcoal will go to the chicken.
After that i washed the pan and put water to it and place it in the burner. I let it simmer and i out the potato cubes after the pan is half cooked i get it and place it in a clean plate, i throw the water used in boiling potato and rinse it. Put it in the stove and put a little bit of oil, potato, cumin power and a little bit of salt to taste. I saute it until i it peferctly cook.
After that i started to do the plating and it looks like this. I called our instructor to check my finished product, she tasted it and said it's so good but the amount of spices that i used is just a little compared to tradistional indian style. I accepted it and told myself to do better next time and i thanked her for giving feedback. It helped me improve.
That's all thank you, everyone!
