Sometimes, I get why newbies struggle here, “Lack of trust”. We’ve seen so many bad actors have multiple accounts, and to a lot of people, that newbie feigning innocence can be one of them. You can’t honestly blame people for feeling this way.
It is a challenge with large scale onboarding you want to bring more folks on but at the same time you don't want to bring folks that are robbing the chain.
That's why we encourage social activity when it comes to receiving curation from ocd. Not just because it shows you're willing to spend extra time and effort to socialise but also cause running multiple accounts will make it hard to do so and increase your risk to screw up.
Honestly that seems like a fairly good way to make abuse harder while also building community
