A colorful floating restaurant where the blue sky is reflected in the clear water is undoubtedly an eye-catching sight.
The apples in our backyard are still small, but they are slowly turning red already.
I think we have about 20 apples this year (if they survive that is 😃).
Cool dude, that's the best part of planting and that's being able to harvest.
Funny, it reminded me of pomegranates, I've never seen an apple tree in my life, but my mother has two pomegranate trees and they look a lot like a young apple.

My day today was incredibly tiring, and, of course, I missed so much of my last Sunday, when I went to the beach and did a lot of diving! #photography #nature
It is actually a lake, and this is the only tree we can see in one side of that lake. We had our lunch under this tree and we saw around 6 or 7 of these lizards going down from the tree trunk, i think they want some food. When i gave them a slice of cake, they gather around and ate.
I noticed this flowering bush full of bumblebees during a walk today.
Unfortunately I only had my phone with me to tsje pictures.
But I still like the shot 😊

I thought the same, I already had a passion plant. The flowers were like that, but yellow.
Laptop Upgrade complete:
- 16GB RAM --> 64GB
- Wifi card upgraded (broke a wire but still seems to work lol)
- Screws replaced
- Hinges strengthened
- Foot grips replaced (with glue gun glue)

Today I went to check and saw that I passed, I don't know why but X doesn't deliver all the notifications that a person has followed you, sometimes there are about 10 new people following me but it only shows the first 2, like that.

Sometimes, I get why newbies struggle here, “Lack of trust”. We’ve seen so many bad actors have multiple accounts, and to a lot of people, that newbie feigning innocence can be one of them. You can’t honestly blame people for feeling this way.
It is a challenge with large scale onboarding you want to bring more folks on but at the same time you don't want to bring folks that are robbing the chain.
That's why we encourage social activity when it comes to receiving curation from ocd. Not just because it shows you're willing to spend extra time and effort to socialise but also cause running multiple accounts will make it hard to do so and increase your risk to screw up.
Honestly that seems like a fairly good way to make abuse harder while also building community

Today's chore: turning off the water valve at the parents' house and locating the water meter to take a reading. Now we wait to see whether there's a leak in the buried pipes between those points. Updates in an hour or two.

That's what's missing for peakd, I think it's the most urgent thing in terms of "a simple language". I use DeepL to translate English/Spanish into Portuguese and I write in Portuguese and use it to post in English.
If all this were native to peakd itself it would help a lot.
100% that's a lot of extra work that lots of people are not willing to do, and like I said with hive being global this is really a must also with our lower numbers we wanna max the engagement we got and that would go a long way

What about LEO miners? Are they going to stop receiving LEO as well? If not didn't they just get rug pulled? If they are still going to be paid then there is no deflationary economy.

If I bought LEO miners with the understanding that I will receive LEO forever, then that would be a rug pull when someone changes things unilaterally a few years down the line. I don't know like how he did with all of this other platforms an tokens.

Sorry, but if you say one thing and flip-flop on that thing. I can't take you seriously as a legitimate project. Khal got paid on the promise of those miners working or the lifetime of the network. That is fraud.

Actually inleo won’t need hive since it’s just another layer on top of their curation which they could simply switch off. There are a lot of if’s, like if leo really does the plan, but this is more about hive’s whole inflation based strategy and less about leo going forward.

Yup basically that's what they are saying, inleo will be able to function on their own island, HIVE and HIVE-ENGINE are just optional layers. Sure if HIVE died they would lose leo.voter curation from that layer, but would not be the end of the world for them.

I'm not even sure how I think a video would be better as inleo is damn near unusable on this new Google fold 9 pro , I tried different browsers and various login methods as well as trying without folding out the phone
Guess that's a pretty deep edge case. If you have another device like a PC, I'd recommend that. Though you'll probably use Hive from another UI and that is A-okay
