On iPhone there are tools that make as good as I can compare (and even output directly to PDF or others), as long people don't want to see the little fur of paper (microscopic exaggeration) kind of detail, for me the scanner just got banned for both "time" and cost of usage.
I have an older Android, and my printer is has 5-in-1 capability, so I suppose proximity and lack of cost matters!
yep, but my prediction is that individual scanners (the ones with a single tap door) will eventually disappear as a device. On combo's like that and on big printers it might continue because of the need to scan multiple pages kind of thing.
