Bright and early we were at the West Valley high school yesterday morning for R's wrestling. We have been to this one a bunch of times so the layout was familiar.
Managed to get his hair into a pony tail that stayed through his matches.
His bracket was missing 2 but it still took a long time for each match to happen. AND each match he won by pin! The last match for 1st was against a kid that he had wrestled last year and beat on points. The other kid has gotten better but so has R and he did really well to listen to coaching.
Nicely the medal table was right outside the gym of his last match so we walked right to the table and he got his first place medal. Super stoked he is! Stopped for snow cones on the way out.
I dropped the boys off and then headed down to pickup our boxes o meat from @stryeyz co-worker/boss.
And managed to get it to fit in the freezer.
The wind was WAY too strong for me to want to go try to fight it on a ride so I setup the trainer and got 10 miles done in 40 minutes.
Nifty seeing the metrics from the trainer.
For dinner I ordered a celebratory pizza for R's medal winning day. Nicely it is just a 2 mile drive to pick up.
I got a soak for a cycle in before a much needed sleep.
Today I am up at my normal 4am. PDC is on, @stryeyz drives home, R has a birthday party mid day at laser tag place, I want to try and get a ride in, and maybe go to the Bighorn show at the fairgrounds... maybe.
