Just an oddity I saw downtown. A trash bin especially designed for paper, plastic and glass. As many people know in Brazil there are lots of people who get their income by recycling those materials.

Same here in Ecuador. They usually gather those materials before the trash trucks drive around, when everyone has their trash already out on the street. Our city put up some PET recycling bins, and donate the material to a local NGO that helps street dogs.
