Merry Christmas and Happy all the days to you and yours! Around this home, we have several traditional things we like to do for the holidays. One of them is - making sugar cookies!

It is a fun and relaxing way to spend time with loved ones. (Even if I think it's all messy!) The girls, I believe, have just as much fun making the dough, rolling it with the rolling pins and cutting out the cookie shapes, as they do when they take their artistry and use the bare cookie as a canvas.

They are all way better at decorating than I am! We even got a bowl of brains and a demigorgon thrown into the mix this year! Believe when I say, I've seen Stranger Things on cookies too, #bet.

I told them all that when I open my bakery, I'll be the one baking, and they will be decorators and we'll not have to market anything because their designs and attention to detail will sell whatever we put on display 🥰.

I remember my grandma would make this candy called 'Divinity'. Is anyone familiar with it? It's like a white whipped sugar ball, basically, and would just melt in your mouth.

My own mother, always makes peanut brittle, which is caramelized sugar that you stir in peanuts or any kind of nut, and then pour onto a cookie sheet to cool. Once it does, you chip it out and viola!
