We did the same growing up, I call them our tacky family Christmas cookies, only these days, I make and decorate them all! I don't try to make them look like an adult did them, because THEN.... they would not look right. Yum! Yum! the taste of my childhood.

Ours are honey cookies, still baked and cut out at home. I'm sure the sugar cookies are just as great.
