Hello everyone!

The past few days have been very stressful for me. Every day, I traveled from our home to the hospital and back again. I also had to take care of my child because my child always looked for me. At the same time, I still had work and many responsibilities to do. I felt very tired, but I knew I had to stay strong for my family.

Because of the hospital bills, we spent almost all of the money we had saved for building our future home. It was not easy, but our family's health is more important than anything else. We also sold two of our pigs. Yesterday, we made it into a lechon and sold it to help us earn money.

We were thankful because many people bought our lechon. After selling it, only the lechon head and a few pieces of pork were left for our family. Even though it was simple, we were happy to enjoy it together.

We also made a delicious buko salad. The coconut strips came from the coconut tree in our backyard, so it was very fresh.

We also prepared a mango float for dessert. My sister-in-law made the mango float because she loves making desserts. It was very creamy, sweet, and delicious. Everyone enjoyed eating it after the busy and stressful days we had.

Before we ate our food, we went to church together. We wanted to thank God first. We prayed because my mother-in-law was finally able to leave the hospital. We are very thankful for His love, protection, and guidance during this difficult time. We also prayed for good health, strength, and more blessings for our family.

For our meal, we enjoyed crispy lechon and grilled pork. We also cooked batchoy using the leftover lechon. It was very tasty and perfect for sharing with the family. My mother-in-law could not eat oily food, so we prepared boiled saba bananas with bagoong for her. She enjoyed her simple meal very much.

These past few days have taught me that life is not always easy. Sometimes we face many problems at the same time. But I believe that with faith in God, love from our family, and support from the people around us, we can get through every challenge. I am thankful that we are slowly moving forward, one day at a time.
