On Saturday, after our day at the park, we went to Crepes & Waffles to enjoy some refreshing ice cream. I decided to try the seasonal Ricotta with Sicilian Orange flavor, and it was an experience unlike any other flavor I’d tried recently. From the very first bite, the texture caught my attention: smooth, creamy, and very pleasant on the palate. The ricotta adds a special delicacy, with a subtle flavor that isn’t overpowering and allows you to appreciate every nuance of the ice cream.
What I liked most was the combination with the Sicilian orange. Its citrusy note adds freshness and creates a perfect contrast with the creaminess of the ricotta. The result is a harmonious balance between sweet notes and a light acidity that enhances the flavor without overpowering it. Every spoonful feels refreshing and elegant—ideal for those who enjoy desserts with less conventional flavors.
El sábado, después de nuestro día en el parque, nos fuimos a Crepes & Waffles a comernos unos heladitos que nos refrescaran. Yo elegí probar el helado de temporada Ricotta con Naranja Siciliana y fue una experiencia diferente a cualquier otro sabor que había probado recientemente. Desde la primera probada me llamó la atención la textura: suave, cremosa y muy agradable al paladar. La ricotta aporta una delicadeza especial, con un sabor sutil que no resulta pesado y que permite apreciar cada matiz del helado.
Lo que más me gustó fue la combinación con la naranja siciliana. Su toque cítrico aporta frescura y crea un contraste perfecto con la cremosidad de la ricotta. El resultado es un equilibrio armonioso entre notas dulces y una acidez ligera que realza el sabor sin opacarlo.
