Hello everyone!!
Have a great and blissful weekend to you all!!! 🙂❣
Let's have some ”Minced Chicken and Tofu Balls” this cozy weekend.
I am again so lucky today because my daughter, @tegoshei, assisted me again in cooking and with some chores at home. She did not work because her father was so busy running errands today, so she helped me with the chores and took care of our lovely fur babies.
In the family, she is the one who really loves tofu that much... Well, we love to eat tofu too, but not as much as she does. So, I made her tummy happy again. 🥰
Here’s how it was made.
Minced Chicken and Tofu Balls
INGREDIENTS:
- Chicken Fillet
- Tofu
- Carrot
- Onion
- Garlic
- Spring Onion
- Flour
- Cornstarch
- Paprika
- Ground Black Pepper
- Salt
- Magic Sarap Seasoning
- Egg
- Canola Oil
PREPARATION:
Wash the chicken fillet thoroughly. Rinse the chicken well and then mince it, setting aside the pieces.
Slightly wash the tofu in running water and mash it.
Wash and peel a carrot, and then grate it.
Wash and peel onions, then cut into small pieces.
Crush and peel garlic, then cut into small pieces.
Wash the spring onions and then cut them thinly.
Crack and then beat the egg.
Set them all aside.

❤
In a larger bowl, mix all the ingredients, including minced chicken, mashed tofu, grated carrot, onions, garlic, flour, cornstarch, and egg.
Then, season with a pinch of salt, Magic Sarap seasoning, paprika, and ground black pepper.
Mix them well to combine all the ingredients thoroughly. And then set aside so we can prepare to cook.
COOKING TIME:

❤
Heat some canola oil in a pan on a medium flame. Then, gradually scoop out some mixture using a spoon, just a spoonful at a time, and use another spoon to help form the mixture into a ball shape. Continue the process until all tasks are completed.

❤
Place the cooked chicken-tofu balls on a plate lined with a kitchen towel to absorb some of the excess oil. Let it cool down, then skewer them and serve with a dipping sauce.
We have two varieties of Mang Tomas sauce today—the regular one and the spicy one called Siga.

And there we have it.
It's yummy and healthy. Well, we paired it with stirred sotanghon and that will be posted tomorrow...😊
I hope you like it.
Bye for now and see you around.
Thank you so much for stopping by, and God bless… 😊🙏💖
