Hoy quedé bastante impresionada cuando fui a hacer mercado, pues vi cereales que tenían AÑOS desaparecidos, al menos yo no los había visto, estos cereales son bastante común en cualquier parte del mundo (supongo) pero para nosotros no tanto. Durante estos años han salido muchos cereales que intentan imitar cada uno de estos sabores que nos llevan de vuelta a nuestra infancia, pero sin lograrlo correctamente, por eso hoy me anime a comprar una zucaritas de chocolate que llegó a ser de mis favoritos cuando era una niña.
I was pretty surprised today when I went grocery shopping—I saw cereals that hadn’t been around in YEARS, at least not that I’d seen them. These cereals are pretty common all over the world (I guess), but not so much here. Over the years, many cereals have come out that try to imitate each of these flavors that take us back to our childhood, but they don’t quite get it right. That’s why today I decided to buy some chocolate Zucaritas, which used to be one of my favorites when I was a kid.
Me hubiese alegrado mas si hubiese conseguido Froot Loops pero no hay aun jaja, hay demasiados cereales parecidos a Froot Loops aquí en Venezuela, pero NINGUNO SABE igual, ninguno tiene ese sabor tan peculiar y divino del Froot Loops original. Y bueno, otro tema es el precio, no son incomparables PERO SI considero que estan muy costosos para lo que ofrece, pero realmente no quería quedarme con las ganas de probarlo y si sabe diferente al menos ya se que no vale la pena volver a pagar casi $5 por ese cereal.
I would have been happier if I’d managed to get Froot Loops, but they’re not available yet, haha. There are too many cereals similar to Froot Loops here in Venezuela, but NONE OF THEM TASTE the same—none of them have that unique, divine flavor of the original Froot Loops. And well, another issue is the price—it’s not outrageous, BUT I DO think it’s very expensive for what it offers. But I really didn’t want to miss out on trying it, and if it does taste different, at least now I know it’s not worth paying almost $5 for that cereal again.
Sinceramente aun no lo pruebo, tengo miedo de abrirlo, la caja se siente tan especial, enserio se siente de tan buena calidad y eso es raro verlo aquí, da mucha lastima dañarla jajaja, pronto lo probare y tengo muchas expectativas esperando que sepa igual a la ultima vez que lo probé. Por cierto, estoy rezando que vuelvan a colocar los choco crispys originales (que tenían forma de arroz) y no esos en forma de bola, los extraño.
Honestly, I haven't tried it yet—I'm afraid to open it. The box feels so special; it really feels like such high quality, and that's rare to see around here. It would be such a shame to ruin it, haha. I'll try it soon, and I'm really hoping it tastes just like the last time I had it. By the way, I’m praying they bring back the original Choco Crispys (the rice-shaped ones) and not those ball-shaped ones—I miss them.
