On a day when the whole world seems filled with pink and roses, for me, love isn't far away at all. It permeates every moment of my ordinary daily life, yet it's more special than any other day because today is a holiday, a day I get to spend with my loved ones.
A morning that begins with the scent of love, warmth, and smiles.
The peaceful Saturday morning begins with a familiar routine. I start the day by brewing a hot cup of coffee for myself and my husband, along with a warm chocolate for my little daughter. Even though it's the same drink, on this special morning, the taste is indescribably more delicious. After taking care of my household duties and opening the shop for the morning, my most important mission begins: taking care of my mother-in-law.
🌹Happiness at Your Fingertips: And attentiveness
When my mother-in-law wakes up, I gently clean her before going into the kitchen to prepare a hot bowl of minced pork porridge with egg. The aroma filled the air. I wait until the food was just warm enough for her to eat comfortably. Slowly feeding her the finely mashed porridge, followed by a glass of warm milk, is a moment where I feel the gratitude and love conveyed through my actions. It's a priceless joy. 🤍♥️💖🥰
💐 A Bond on a Small Motorcycle
While I was busy taking care of things around the house, this father and daughter shared a lovely moment together. The little girl, despite having tutoring both in the morning and afternoon, begged her father to give her a ride on his trusty motorcycle to buy breakfast at the market. Watching the father and daughter together on the motorcycle made me smile and feel happy. It was a simple yet strong bond of love.
♥️The world is pink because we have each other. Before noon, I switch roles, becoming a vendor welcoming customers who come to buy drinks, alternating with watering the plants and taking care of my beloved pets. Once everything is settled, I have the opportunity to sit down and compose these words to share with all my friends.
Each person's Valentine's Day may have a different form, but for me, "love is caring for each other on tiring days and being by each other's side on the most ordinary days."
