I have set a default percentage. I don't upvote everything I read, but if I do, I try to make sure it's above the dust threshold.

Not necessarily. To assume any post is worth a vote, you first have to be paying attention. Most people are in the habit of scrolling until something gets their attention. Most people are not in the habit of assessing value for reward online, because that doesn't happen in Web 2. So, more than likely, very few think as they scroll by, "That's not worth a vote." More likely, the majority of posts never hit the majority's attention at all.
I think we mean the same thing, we're just using different words to say it.

Don't worry about the wires, it makes it part of the uniqueness of your photos. The view of the mountain though, amazing. Is it always with a bit of snow or is it because of the storm? What's the name of the mountain? What's the name of your city? I really like it.
They're Mt. Cotacachi and Mt. Imbabura, in Ecuador. The town is called Cotacachi in the Province of Imbabura - the mountains are the name givers :-) I'll never like the wires. If they're everywhere, they're not unique :-D

D.Buzz was one of the first I saw doing microblogging, but they handle it very differently from a technical standpoint.
There is also Waves from Ecency, and Threads from the Leo team that are still operating.
It was meant to be more of a reminder. I think INJI was the name of the one I'm forgetting.
That was DBuzz. I think devs are no longer active. Not sure if it still works.

For the reader, I'd think the infinite stars. If it were a movie, the sun would be more dramatic.
