That are the cables for the TV that are integrated (in a pipe) in the wall.
Under the TV is usually a small cabinet with some TV-equipment.
This way you don't see any cabling.

uh meanwhile Bitcoin has gone up a lot more, and hive was $3 when btc was like what $50k? Steem was $8 when BTC was $20k. this low hive price just feels like complete failure compared to teh steem days. Why did steem LOOSE so many investors with its transition to hive?

I'm slowly filling up my HBD Savings account again.
I had around 3000 earlier this year, but I bought some 'cheap Hive' for it.
I'm planning to have the 4000 by the end of the year. I do have to spend some Hive to buy back some HBD when the price of Hive goes up some more.
A great move, I'm going to conquer my HP with daily posts and power ups, HBD I'm going to leave in savings for now, I don't want to mess with it, just let it grow and yield each month.
I'm having 50/50 HP/HBD for my posts.
Have to see if I put all HBD in savings or buy more Hive with it.
I want to reach at least 1000 HBD in savings, then I think I'll focus on gaining more HP for a while and then more HBD in savings xD

The only thing that would happen is that gold itself would become cheap.
Indeed they are more astronomers than economists. Economy is science.
But I would like to see that gold on Earth due to the scientific advancements we could achieve with cheap gold. Like in electronics.
Although cheap silver could do miracles with energy transport.
Do you think the asteroid miners would share their wealth? They would manage the gold supply like countries manage oil to their own advantage.
They wouldn't simply "share".
They would have to use/sell all that gold at some point. Otherwise the whole endeavor would be useless as it would be wasting billions of dollars just to fill a box with a collection of metal bars.
As with the oil they could control it and still get rich. The price might still come down due to the extra supply. Some rich people don't like to share. Wealth is obnoxious if stored in large quantities. A bit like cow shit :)
I guess it's all narrative too apart from strict supply and demand. The perception of gold could be devalued.

I have used trains in Germany. They did not seem much worse than the UK, but some got cancelled due to flooding on one trip. This is vital infrastructure and ought to get investment.

Fast fashion doesn’t just “go away” after we’re done with it. We call it donation but I think it’s just dumping with better PR.
This is really sad. Clothes should help, not harm. We need better ways to care for people and the planet.

This is 100% Ghana's fault. Why are THEY dumping in their own country? Its not liek some ship with a british flag shows up hah and dumps clothes into their wetlands. This is Ghana's own fault and they need to take responsibility.
Since the APR-analog to HP fluctuates between 3% and 13%, I don't believe we'll see lower HBD-savings APR going below 15% for a while. And when we do see it(eventually will happen) is because our ecosystem is having big problems that might last months or even years to solve.
