I had the inch to open packs. We spent $17.85 and got back $23.46 in card value. Not bad for some standard packs but two of the packs had a card value of about $.75. That hurts.

had a couple of those "starter" standard packs myself recently, at least the odd legendary pays for 5 packs
Wild how the market works... all the value of those two packs was in two cards: the meta legendary and a meta GF common.
Premiums paid to the premium cards. I wish everyone luck opening their packs so we get better cards on the market where I like to shop!
