History of Jollibee
Jollibee is the top fast food in the Philippines. It is rated by the trip advisor website as of July 2023. The food chain was started in the year 1978. The family before sold Magnolia Ice Cream in 1975. Three years later, they make the store into the Jollibee food chain. Years come they have thousands of Jollibee branches in the Philippines. They even have Jollibee Corporation Group internationally.
They named it "Jollibee" because the bee is representing hard work and they pair it with jolly as happiness. It means when you dine in at Jollibee you can experience happiness with your family eating together with your favorite Filipino food. In Jollibee, you can celebrate the birthday party with your children. They accept a birthday celebration inside together with the Jollibee mascot and crew. They even prepare their dance presentation as well.

Food Taste/Menu
Their dishes are chicken, spaghetti, burgers, and other Filipino food. They even have ice cream and some drinks are Coke, Sprite, Royal, Iced tea, and pineapple juice. They have peach mango pie, "ube macapuno" pie, and "buko"(coconut) pie. I'd prefer mango pie because I like mango. They even have a common breakfast with coffee and hot chocolate drink. They have garlic rice during breakfast. I like to pair it with hot chocolate. During lunch, I prefer to order fried chicken which is spicy. What I like in their chicken is crunchy, spicy, and tastes good. It served hot as well. It's best to have more gravy. I like to pair it with a Coke float. A cook drink that has mixed with chocolate.
Burger Steak
This meal belongs to the B group. It is a beef patty with gravy and mushroom sauce. It is a favorite of other kids. Even my son really liked the taste of the gravy sauce of burger steak. This meal has a free drink as well. Anyway, just choose B group if you would like a beef patty with sauce. For B1, it is a single beef patty with rice. The price is 85 pesos. Unlike B2, has a double beef patty and its price is 142 pesos.
This is Jollibee Spaghetti. It has sliced hotdog, cheese, ground meat, and sauce. I like to eat this when it is served hot. Anyway, you can choose it in the S-group menu. For S1, the price is 85 pesos. This is good for one person. It is paired with Iced tea but you can change it into other drinks like Coke/Sprite/Royal but same price. There is S1 with fries included. Next, the S2 is spaghetti and burger with a drink. The S3 is with spaghetti and burger steak. While the S4 is only spaghetti that is good for family. It is placed in a large pan and the price is 235 pesos.
Jollibee Chicken Joy (Spicy Flavor)
This is my favorite meal in Jollibee. I prefer the spicy chicken with gravy sauce. This had a drink included. For families, they have bucket chicken that has 8 pcs chicken.
My son had a picture of the Jollibee model outside. At first, he felt afraid to go near.

We took a picture with the Jollibee mascot on the street because he walked around outside the restaurant maybe he was bored. My son was afraid to take pictures with the mascot because it was the first time had seen it. There is a crew inside the mascot who is a man. I think it is hot inside. Jollibee's mascot is friendly with the children. That's why children really love to eat in the Jollibee. They always request their parents to go to Jollibee because they want to eat their favorites, especially fried chicken and spaghetti.
A lot of stories happened inside the Jollibee
Some people meet their true love in the Jollibee. They just simply say "Hi" to someone and turns into a relationship. They even go to the point where they are officially married. Some people meet someone but it is just a lesson for them because they are not meant for each other. They just meet to learn and to realize what kind of love they are looking for.
How to order at the counter? (Traditional Style)
¤Take a look at their menu above the counter.
¤Choice what food you would like to order.
¤You can even order desserts like ice cream, mango pie, etc.
¤Once you decide already, pay cash at the counter or used their card which is the Happy Plus Card, then wait for your numbers to be called.
For the Jollibee branch which is digital style. (Self-Ordering Kiosks)
¤Go to their machine.
¤ Tap the selected menu.
¤ If you want to order chicken, go to the chicken group. There you can find meal with fried chicken.
¤ Tap "Add to my order".
¤Select the "pay order", then proceed to payment.
¤ Choose. "Dine in" or "Take out".
¤Chose the kind of payment either "Pay at the counter", "Debit or Credit Card" or "Happy Plus Card".
¤ Lastly is processing your order, then you can get your priority number at the lower part of the screen (left side).
However, this branch that we visited has no self-ordering kiosk. We directly order from the cashier at the counter. It is a traditional way of ordering. But, they have a device that they give you as your signal that your order is prepared already. It will vibrate once your order is done. Then, you can go to the claim area to get your order.
However, there are some branches that have self-ordering kiosks, especially in SM Cebu. They have that machine because there are too many people visited in SM mall. They cannot cater if they directly order at the counter. I had experienced there when the time they don't have that machine. It takes time to wait for my order before. Last month, I tried ordering there and it was really fast getting my order. How amazing technology is in our life because we can do our transactions so fast.
Therefore, when you are craving fried chicken I highly recommend Jollibee chicken joy because of its unique taste that you cannot find with other restaurants.
