This year I made a wonderful homemade juice from the priceless elderberry.
My friends and I picked the flowers from the herb. We chose a clean place and picked it before dawn when the precious flowers had opened.
I placed 30 elderberry flowers in a container with 2 liters of water. I added a handful of lemon balm. I cut 2 lemons and left the liquid in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
Then I strained it and added 1 kg. of sugar. I stirred until the sugar dissolved. Finally I added the citric acid, poured it into jars and sterilized them.
Now we have a delicious juice, wonderful not only for the great summer heat, but also for the cold winter days.
