Green peas with carrots

Getting valuable nutrients from food is essential to enjoying good health.

Today I had green peas with carrots.

It’s a staple dish that is also very nutritious.

There are people who love peas, and others who hate it, especially meat lovers.

Besides, some people like plain boiled peas without adding any other ingredients, or perhaps with some butter, for example mushy peas, while others may go for more exotic options, such as adding potatoes, carrots, and other vegetables.

I also had a few olives with my peas.

After finishing half of my dish, I added some yogurt to the peas and carrots that were left, and mixed them altogether.

I thought it would be a good idea to also drink a glass of dry white wine, which proved to be a good choice.

Finally, I ate some strawberries to finish my meal.
