I went to visit my aunt at her workplace which is just around IT Park. Since it was a weekend, she invited me to go with her to do some grocery shopping after her shift. She said we would go to Ayala Center Bloc since it was just nearby. I agreed because it has been a while since I last visited that place.

After she finished work, we started walking from IT Park to Ayala Center Bloc. The weather was nice, not too hot and not too gloomy either, so it was the perfect time to walk.

While we were walking, something adorable caught my attention. I saw a tiny kitten walking toward me. It was so small and so cute that I couldn’t help but stop and watch it for a bit. It looked like it was curious about everything around it. I wanted to pick it up, but I thought its mother would have been there nearby and might attack me if I touched her kitten, so I just smiled and continued walking with my aunt.

When we finally arrived at Ayala Center Bloc, we headed straight to the grocery area. My aunt told me that she would be buying quite a lot of items and that it might take her some time to finish. I didn’t really feel like going around the grocery aisles, so I decided to just wait for her at a nearby café stall while she shopped. I found this small stall called Cafe inside the supermarket area. It wasn’t a big place, but it looked cozy enough for a short break, so I ordered a snack while waiting.

I got their chicken fingers with chips and an Oreo milkshake. Honestly, I didn’t expect much since it was just a small stall inside the grocery, but to my surprise, the food was really good. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the fries were perfectly cooked. The Oreo milkshake was creamy and sweet, just how I like it. I just sat there, enjoying my food while watching people pass by with their grocery carts. It felt nice to just take a moment and relax after walking around.

While I was eating, I could already imagine my aunt going through every aisle, checking the labels, and comparing prices. She really takes her time when it comes to grocery shopping, so I knew I had enough time to enjoy my snack without rushing. After I finished my food, I scrolled through my phone for a bit until my aunt messaged me that she was done.
When she met me, she told me that she still needed to go to BreadTalk to buy some bread for us to take home. I asked her if I could go to Watsons to buy some essentials since I was already running low on a few items. She said yes and told me to meet her later at the exit after I was done. I happily went to Watsons because it’s honestly one of my favorite stores. I don’t know why but going there always makes me excited.

I started picking up my essentials and before I knew it, I already had a full basket. I got so focused on what I was buying that I forgot to take any photos inside Watsons. I only remembered to take one after I was done shopping, so the only photo I had was me holding my shopping bag outside the store. I laughed at myself because I originally planned to take a few pictures for my blog, but I completely forgot once I started browsing.

After that, I met my aunt at the exit of Ayala Center Bloc just like we planned. She was already done buying bread, so we decided to sit on a nearby bench while waiting for our Grab taxi to arrive. We were both a bit tired from walking, but it was a happy kind of tired. While waiting, we chatted about random things, mostly about what we bought and some plans for the next few days. It felt nice just sitting there and watching the people pass by.

When our Grab finally arrived, we headed home with our grocery bags and shopping items. It was a short but fun day. I know it wasn’t anything grand, but moments like that are the ones I truly enjoy. It’s not every day that I get to go out with my aunt and have some time to just shop, eat, and relax. Plus, I got to go to Watsons which honestly made my day complete. Watsons really is my little happiness.
