The halo effect.
I'd say most of us, if not all are, guilty of it.

Unconsciously assuming someone must have tons of other impressive traits after noticing one positive quality about them.

Sure I've had my share of that as well and now, I think I know better than to throw assumptions.

Studying someone is like studying microbes and parasite oh my God.
It's wide and that is why you don't jump into conclusions just take your time and observe instead of assuming.

She say na oh my God 😭😂😂

Eggxactly. Sometimes, people might show you the fake, sweet part of them initially and after a while, begin to show their true colours. And vice versa.

Yes o that's why I don't like online relationship. Be it friendship or partnership. I just feel there is not always honest and genuine feelings from it.

And there is tendency that one person is lying to the other or even both.

That's understandable cause I've been there before.
I doubted the genuineness of online friendship when a friend talked to me about hers but after one or two experiences of my own, my perspective changed.
Though it all depends on the people you cross paths with 🥲

You're right about that.

We should always take our time to study people and see them for who they really are. Some appear as sheep to us at first and we feel, "omo, what a kind human." We may never know if they're just doing that to either get what they want or make us feel comfortable so they can...Uno

Spot on mi bro.
Rather than guessing or jumping into conclusions from the onset, it's better to take our time to actually see who someone really is.

Exactly 💯

I love taking my time to study people and avoid assumptions so much

Rightttt!
That's way much better.

Many people are actually guilty of this. When they see one positive trait in a person, they would automatically think that that person is a good person. One thing they forget to do is to check that person well for some time, then, decide if that person is good or not

Honestly, it happens quite a lot and mostly in cases where you'll hear someone utter, "she is showing her true colours".
Whereas, no one actually took time to know more about the person in question.
