One who does not know and does not know that he does not know is a fool;
But one who does not know and knows that he does not know is wise.

Though this isn't the entire wordings, I like to think that to be the first quote I learnt by heart, written in a magazine my dad once brought home.

Sort:

The simple reality of life.
Pride in admitting you know what you don't know and you don't want to know.
Being humble and learning knowing fully well you don't know.

You getttt.
Most times, people who are clueless about a thing don't bother to seek the knowledge but rather, comfortably sit still with their ignorance.

Humility however, paves way for an educated mind and more still, a fulfilled life ♥️

You always come across to me as a brilliant young lady and I think for everyone who comes across your snap, this is one assumption they might have too.

The quote itself reads tricky to even memorize! But the lesson in it is precious.

I also miss when we had literary prints laying all over the house for our consumption. Things aren't the same anymore.🥺

Ouuuuuu 🥺... I feel you.

We also had a bookshelf with every compartment but one, filled with all book genres and the most special ones of them right in my dad's room.
One of the many reasons I miss being home.

Thank you so much for your hearty words, Chee ❤️
You just made my morning, if not my whole day, despite the fact that I won't dare see myself as one.

For real!

A very very deep one I must say
...
Some will not accept that, maybe pride Sha.
But some of us who don't know anything, we're always open to learning.

Pride or ignorance, I call it off as either of the two.

Just as it ought to be 🥰

Sure sissy ❤️

This actually tells us that we don't have all the answers at once to become wise.
You will make mistakes, lots of errors but when you acknowledge your mistakes and admit your wrongs,You've opened a room to learn and grow.

Spot on!
Nobody knows it all but having the interest to grasp the little you can is more than enough ❤️

✅ that's just it.
I don't like people feeling they know it all around me.
If my mum is wrong I will tell her same with my dad. They might feel bad but they will understand they are wrong.

Honestly, especially when the person is far from the truth.
I adore your openness with all, irrespective of who they are ❤️
