We both undergo total thyroidectomy and RAI and yes after I was discharged from the hospital and arrived home I do craved the different foods. From one month fasting that makes me so weak and even looses my voice till RAI ALL FOODS HAS NO SALT or no taste at all. Get well soon , after six months you would have a surveilance procedure to distinguish if your RAI was successful and to know if the cancer cells have died. PRAY and pray thats what I DID. now I am a Thyroid CANCER survivor.
