Let's see how I made it.

Ingredients

  • 4-Type Lentils ( 200 grams )
  • Whole Wheat ( 50 grams )
  • Rice ( 50 grams )
  • Chicken ( 500 grams )
  • Oil ( 2 cup )
  • Onion ( 200 grams )
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste ( 2 sp )
  • Tomato ( 100 grams )
  • Red ground chili & turmeric ( according to taste )
  • Salt & black pepper ( according to taste )
  • Coriander & Cumin powder ( 1 sp )
  • Green Chillies ( 2 or 3 )
  • Fresh Green Mint & Coriander ( handful)

Process

Guys, so far I have shared most of the recipes with you, so today I am going to share a new dish with you guys.
So, without wasting time, I will tell you how to make it.

I soaked four types of lentils including, chana dal, mash dal, moong dal, masoor, as well as rice and wheat, all of them overnight so that they would be soft by morning.

I added water, salt, and turmeric to these lentils and boiled them.

Now I poured cooking oil into a pot and added the onion to it and fried it.
When it turned brown, I took it out of the oil.
Now I added the boneless chicken to the same oil.

After frying the chicken, I added finely chopped onion, salt, ground red chilies, chili flakes, and ginger-garlic paste.

Now I added tomato and green chillies to it and roasted the chicken well until it was cooked then I took it out of the spices and shredded it.

I boiled the lentils earlier and now grind them and add them to this spice mix.
I also added shredded chicken and coriander and cumin powder to it.

Now I added the fried onions and the oil left over from frying the chicken and finally I sprinkled fresh coriander and mint on top.

The beautiful garnishing of fresh coriander, green chilies, ginger, and onions adds a burst of freshness and a slight crunch, enhancing both taste and presentation.

Wholesome, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying, this dish is a timeless comfort food that brings warmth, tradition, and indulgence together in the most delicious way.

Final Look:

This rich and hearty haleem is a true masterpiece of slow cooking, where tender shredded chicken is perfectly blended with a nourishing mix of lentils, wheat, and rice.

Gently simmered to achieve a smooth, velvety texture, every spoonful offers deep, comforting flavors infused with aromatic spices.

I hope you all like my recipe. I will wait for your comments. Now we will meet in the next post with a new recipe. Until then, Good Bye...🤗
