I've seen these before. The scammer will probably tell you that you inherit their savings since he doesn't have any kids.
For you to be able to access the money you need to pay a sum of money to a notary or something.
For all these scams the following applies: if it sounds to goodnto be true, it probably is.
Nigerians love to give birth to lots of children and you hardly find lonely people here. I don't think it's related to Nigerians at all
