Have a great day, dear friends! How are you?
Today is a busy day for me, but I didn't forget to bring you a new recipe. "Dodol" is one of the popular sweets unique to Sri Lanka and an indispensable treat for festive occasions. Although it takes some time to prepare, many people prefer to buy it from the market. However, if we make it at home, we can ensure it's free from artificial flavorings. Without spending too much time, I'll show you how to make "Dodol" suitable for everyone, big and small.

Materials Used.
Hot water 60ml.
25g of peanuts.
Salt to taste.
cardamom powder 5g.

Coconut milk 600ml.
Corn flour 80g.
Rice flour 80g.
Sugar 200g.
1 Tablespoon of vegetable oil.

The cooking process as follows.
Now let's get ready. For that, first take the container of coconut milk and add 100g of sugar, rice flour, wheat flour and salt powder to the required quantity and mix well so that there are no lumps. Keep it aside after mixing it well.

Now let's take a container again and put it on the stove and add 6 tablespoon of sugars. Dissolve the sugar on low flame. Once it caramelizes, add hot water. Mix it up.

Next, add some coconut milk to it and add cardamom powder to it. Mix it well.

Next we increase the fire at this time. After about 3 minutes, when the mixture thickens, add a tablespoon of coconut oil. then When the mixture thickens, add peanuts and mix well.

Finally, when the mixture thickens well, remove it from the stove and spread oil in a tray and thin it.

Next, after it cools down, it is cut into pieces.

Although this is a time-consuming task, I prepared it in about 30 minutes. It can be prepared very simply and easily and served to guests at home. Also, you can prepare this for special events and decorate the food table. It can be prepared with more raw material and taken to relatives' houses with its nutritious properties. So I will say goodbye for today. have a great day to you.
