Foodies have been my comfort every time I feel stressed about some aspects of life. So whenever I am feeling tired, I am usually craving for my favorite food. And that, I simply travel all around my hometown and look for a cafe or food house that would satisfy my cravings, not to mention that pizza is one of my favorite snacks.
Cafe By the Ridge is a perfect place to dine during a foggy weather. I often heard from my friends that many people living from the cities do love to have a staycation here whenever they wanted to have a breath of fresh air and a glimpse of a beautiful scenery.
We were strolling around the ridges of Dahilayan at that moment as we visited the newly constructed Adventure Park owned by a friend. The place was so elevated that I could feel much coldness of the weather. Although it was raining, I was in the mood to travel here since it has an extraordinary atmosphere that relaxes me.
And of course, the foggy weather made me excited as I am feeling like I am in another side of the world with the cold ambiance. Despite the very cold weather, I enjoyed the moment as I stepped on every beautiful spot all around a scenic place. The swing was one of the spots I loved there as I enjoyed sitting down and swaying at that moment. And then later, I was captured with a candid shot.
I have shared in my previous post that I have been in a beautiful view as I have shared the wonderful ridges of Dahilayan. Beside the spot was the Cafe By Ridge. I have heard positive reviews from my friends that this is one of the best places in Dahilayan to relax.
When we arrived there, tiny raindrops fell. But we never mind of it because we enjoyed the picturesque view. There were many tables and chair outside but still I wanted to get inside to see some interesting stuffs. And I was right that the ambiance inside the cafe was so cozy.
At first I was seated at the outside chairs. One of the staffs then went near to me, she gave me the menu. After a while, I finally decided a pizza and a hot chocolate for snacks.
And then I entered inside while capturing the aesthetic decorations. There were fresh and elegant ornamental plants inside and it was decorated with a wooden theme.
The ceiling was a roof-like display with many vibrant lights adding coziness to the atmosphere inside the cafe. There were also many tables and other sides there were many glass decorations.
And then I have seen a favorite corner that seemed to be exclusive. But I seated on a corner where I could see the foggy ambiance.
I was able to capture the foggy weather while I was inside. Here are some of the snapshots I captured. The weather was indeed so cold and foggy.
The place is located at Sitio Bagalangit, in Dahilayan, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. And it is just passable on the roads going to Dahilayan Gardens and Resort. The entrance fee is 4 dollars but the 3.50 dollars is consumable for foods. There are many things that I love about this cafe. Indeed, it is one of the best cafes in Manolo Fortich.
Meanwhile, I explored at another spot inside the cafe near the counter and found many antique and valuable decors that were placed in a glass cabinet. They were so nice to look at. I asked one of the staff and she said that these are personal collections of the owner of the cafe from different countries. But most of them are made from the Philippines.
And here are the elegant glass decorations that made the place so precious. I was so delighted to see them as I am also fond of collecting valuable things at home.
I also love the spot with the floral heart shape with a bench meant for groupies and selfies. How I love the weather and I simply took a snapshot without some
selfies because the raindrops kept on falling back then.
When we were there, it was 18 degrees in Dahilayan. Do you love a foggy weather? I must say it is my favorite. I love taking some snapshots in a super foggy view. It is a perfect place to chill with family and loved ones in the cafe and its amazing views.
Ah! It is the best and I have experienced the foggy and cold weather. And that, the hot chocolate with marshmallow and pizza was truly a perfect blend to have for snacks.

I really love pairing the hot chocolate drink with the pizzas for snacks. It was not so sweet but just right to my taste.
The Super Supreme Deluxe Pizza
It is a delicious pizza with a combination of onions, green peppers, mushrooms, pepperoni, ham, and cheese.
I started taking a bite and I must say that pizza was truly so tasty. It is one of the best seller pizzas in the cafe. It may be pricey but it is so worth it of its price.
Perhaps it was a wonderful foggy weather and I enjoyed every priceless moments while I was at the Cafe by the ridge with its delicious Pizza and tasty Hot Chocolate. Indeed, it was a perfect cafe for a foggy weather and I wish to go back there over and over!
