Hi bloggers and food lovers, today I still had some potatoes left over, and since I was in the mood for something fried, I decided to make soft potato pancakes stuffed with melted, creamy and savory, using whatever ingredients I had on hand in the kitchen. Okay, let’s get right to it
Ingredients:
- 500 grams potatoes
- 5 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp margarine
- cheese for the filling
Instructions:
- Peel the potatoes and rinse them under running water

- Cut the potatoes into pieces, then steam them

- Once soft, mash the potatoes

- After mashing, add the pepper, salt, and all-purpose flour

- Knead the potatoes and seasonings until well combined

- Shape the dough into a ball, then flatten it

- Fill the potato with cheese

- Close the dough and reshape it into a ball

- Heat a pan and melt the margarine in it

- Once melt, add the potato patties and fry until golden brown

Flip them over until both sides are cooked (be careful here because the potatoes are soft and easily break apart)
Remove from the pan and serve

- The soft potato pancakes are ready to eat
