Honey Garlic Meatballs

Ingredients:

  • 100 grams of chicken meatballs
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 100 ml water
  • cooking oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp chili flakes
  • cornstarch slurry
  • toasted sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Prepare the all-purpose flour mixed with water until it reaches a thick consistency

  • Coat the chicken meatballs in the flour mixture

  • Place them in a pan with hot oil

  • Fry the meatballs until cooked through and golden brown

  • Remove and drain

  • Sauté the minced garlic in the pan until fragrant

  • Add the soy sauce and dark soy sauce

  • Add the chili flakes and add the water and stir until well combined

  • Add the honey to the pan

  • Stir again until well combined

  • Add cornstarch slurry and stirr well combine

  • Add the fried meatballs to the pan

  • Stir until all sides of the meatballs are coated with the sauce

  • Remove from heat and serve

  • Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top
