
Hi bloggers and food lovers! Do you like crackers? Tired of just eating them with coffee or tea? I’ve got the solution. This time, I’m going to make fried crackers with a soft, sweet filling, like custard. They’re perfect as a snack for your downtime. Okay, let’s get started
Ingredients:
- 1 package of crackers
- 13 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 350 ml water
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp original sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tbsp chocolate condensed milk
- 2 tbsp margarine
- cooking oil
Steps:


- Add the flour and sugar to a bowl


- Pour in the water and stir until smooth


- Add the egg and stir again until well combined

- Strain the batter divide the batter into 2 portions


- For the original batter, add sweetened condensed milk and margarine

- Stir until smooth over a pan with the heat turned off


Once well combined, turn the heat to low and stir continuously until the batter thickens
Turn off the heat and set aside



- For the chocolate filling, add chocolate condensed milk, cocoa powder, and margarine

- Stir until combined, then cook in a pan over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens




Spread the filling on top of the crackers, then cover with another cracker
Repeat until the original and chocolate fillings are used up


Heat the oil and briefly fry the filled crackers over a low heat
Remove and drain



- Fried cracker sandwiches are ready to serve
