Food Hunting : Korean Food

in Hive Food8 days ago

Hi bloggers and food lovers! Do you like Korean food? I sure do—the food I often see in dramas looks so tempting. So, this time I went with my friends to try some authentic Korean food. We went to Kimchii Booth. It’s a new restaurant, but the food looks pretty tempting. We ordered Chicken Mentai Kimbap, Gochu Butter Bibimbap, Original Tteokbokki, Korean Fried Chicken Mix, and for drinks, Subak Hwachae

Chicken Mentai Kimbap

As the name of the dish, this dish is a rice roll wrapped in nori, filled with chicken katsu (fried chicken), omelet, spinach, and sliced mushrooms, topped with a creamy and savory mentai sauce.

Gochu Butter Bibimbap

This dish features warm rice served in a hotplate bowl, topped with gochujang sauce, butter, kimchi, spinach, carrots, bean sprouts, cucumber, and nori flakes. To enjoy it, mix all the ingredients together before eating so they blend harmoniously, with a hint of butter’s rich aroma as you eat them.

Original Tteokbokki

It has a vibrant red appearance with sesame seeds sprinkled on top, but trust me, it’s only slightly spicy. It has a fragrant aroma from the sesame oil, and the filling includes tteok (rice cakes), sausage slices, and oden (fish cakes). The savory and fragrant broth pairs perfectly with the kimbap. The texture is chewy and very soft when bitten into.

Korean Fried Chicken Mix

This dish features breaded fried chicken and tteokbokki in two flavors on one plate: spicy and honey sauce. The spicy fried chicken is coated in gochujang sauce, while the other is drizzled with a sweet and aromatic honey sauce. It has a crunchy and savory texture.

Subak Hwachae

The drink is Subak Hwachae, which contains watermelon chunks, soda water, basil seeds, and ice. It has a fresh and sweet taste.

It’s a fun place, and there’s even a photo booth inside. Both the venue and the food are great and enjoyable
