
Hi bloggers and food lovers. Today I'm going to share a recipe for chewy and soft tofu topped with savory oyster sauce.
Ingredients:
Chewy Tofu:
- 2 blocks of tofu
- 1 stalk of spring onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
Sauce ingredients:
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 onion
- 2 red chilies
- 150 ml water
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons oyster sauce
- 1 spring onion
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch solution
Steps:
Chewy Tofu:

- Add tofu, spring onion stalks, garlic, cornstarch, and wheat flour


- Blend using chopper until smooth

- Take one spoonful and fry in hot oil

Cook until done and browned
Remove and drain
Sauce:


Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant
Add chopped red chili

- Add water



- Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, pepper

- Stir briefly, then add chopped spring onion

- When it starts to boil, add cornstarch solution

Stir until thickened
Turn off the heat
Serving:

- Place the tofu on a plate


- Pour the spicy oyster sauce over it

- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top

- Chewy tofu with oyster sauce is ready to serve
