One of the many things I'm grateful to my mom for teaching me is how to cook. I'm not as good as Gordon Ramsey, but I'm good enough to make you lick your plates after tasting my dish.

My mum and dad taught me cleanliness.
My dad thought me little about Cooking.
I didn't grow up with my mum I guess I would have learnt more about cooking.
But my Cooking skills improved when I was in 200l first semester.

It's actually very good to know how to cook oo. The importance is not even because of it save cost, but because it's more healthy. You don't know hat these mama-put and restaurants are using on their food.

She taught me kindness,my mum can help anyone. I can very well remember about two to three students she took on back then, she didn't even know there parents, she just knew they had housing issues and she took them in, this was over 12-15....

...makes it one of the things I look out for and turns me on or off in a lady today. I'm not expecting you to bath like 2-3 times a day like me, or clean your room every single time like me. But then, sha just be clean.
Omo, me I'm expecting a lady to bath more than twice a day o.. lol. I can't stand dirtiness. It's a red flag. At least, she should be able to brush twice daily, and bath more than twice daily depending on the weather sha.

At a point my mum had to call me out and ask if I don't think this is getting too much. Like, I love a neat and well arranged place. I can literally pick anything up without stumbling over in my room even in total darkness.
I can totally relate to how it was growing up in an all boys home. Though we had an eldest sister, she gave us huge gap and married when I was very young, so, we the boys of the house had to learn about these responsibilities

It's also nice of that person to still keep in touch. That shows that he appreciates the act of kindness from your mom even after many years has passed. There are some persons that would not reach out immediately they park out.
Yeah. Some won't even make an ordinary phone call. But she, she's different. She even asks her hubby to speak with mum anytime she calls.
Her kindness has helped me too, at least I was staying in a free room here before I decided to move out and get my own space here as well.
It's a good thing that your mom taught you kindness and your learnt well and you're putting it into practice. There are some persons that would not even learn this kindness talk more of practicing it.
It's very kind for her to help those students. I remember when I was also in school, a stranger helped me with housing for about a year. I didn't pay a dime in rent. I got water, light and all I needed. I didn't pay anything for even the water and light. People are really kind

Well, my mom cleans a lot and she's very good at it. I may not have watched her actively but I think I just picked it up from her quickly.
Now, cleaning is one of my favorite things to do and I couldn't have had it any other way.

Praying is very important. Mothers and prayers, 5 and 6. I wouldn't want to say they are the closest to God when compared to fathers, but then, they pray a lot. Any small thing, let's pray. It's good that you learnt that.
