I did it—I made it on time! My biggest worry at the start of the first day of #HODAlicante was that my tight travel schedule would fall apart and I wouldn’t be able to make it to the event’s opening. But I made it, and I had a great time.

I’m still trying to figure out the other worry I was carrying around, so I can understand it. It was an almost uncontrollable nervousness that stayed with me throughout the entire trip until arriving at our meeting place; once there, it vanished. I feel like my body was on high alert for no good reason—I can’t say I didn’t know what to expect or that I was worried about feeling out of place, but whatever it was made me feel more anxious than I had been in the past few months. Considering how much has happened!

But anyway, even though I was in crisis without realizing it, watching the bus approach the coast, letting me enjoy the spectacle of the Mediterranean Sea after so many months away, filled me with a very genuine joy.

I didn't have much time to consider other options when I arrived at the Alicante bus terminal, so I hopped in a taxi right away, and thanks to that, I walked through the doors of Ulab, our convention center, at 3:01 p.m. Right on time.

I stopped for just a few seconds to say hello to @edje, who was smoking very calmly outside the building, letting me know that I had arrived on time and that I should head to the basement to access the space we would be using. Right away, the place felt spacious and pleasant. There’s a large mural at the bottom of the stairs—and next to the noisy elevator—that welcomes you with the phrase Start. There’s no substitute for experience, which I thought was very fitting, because right after that you came across the promotional banner and a whiteboard welcoming you to Hive!

¡Lo logré, llegue a tiempo! Mi mayor preocupación al comienzo del primer día del #HODAlicante era que mi ajustado itinerario de viaje fallara y no lograra estar presente durante el inicio del evento. Pero se logró y se disfrutó mucho.

La otra preocupación que llevaba encima aun estoy por deconstruirla, para poder entenderla. Se trataba de un nerviosismo casi incontrolable que me acompañó durante todo el viaje hasta llegar a nuestro lugar de encuentro, una vez allí, desapareció. Siento que mi cuerpo estaba en modo alerta de forma innecesaria, no puedo decir que no sabía lo que me esperaba ni que me preocupaba sentirme fuera de lugar, pero lo que sea que fuera me hizo sentir más ansiosa de lo que había estado durante los últimos meses. ¡Y mira que han pasado cosas!

Pero bueno, a pesar de que estuviese en crisis sin reconocerlo, ver como el bus se acercaba a la costa, dejándome disfrutar del espectáculo del Mar Mediterráneo después de tantos meses alejada, me llenaba con una alegría muy genuina.

No tuve mucho tiempo de considerar vías alternativas al arribar al terminal de autobuses de Alicante, así que me subí a un taxi enseguida y gracias a eso crucé las puertas de Ulab, nuestro centro de convenciones, a las 15:01 de la tarde. Justo a tiempo.

Me detuve solo unos segundos para saludar a @edje, quien fumaba muy tranquilamente fuera del edificio, dejándome saber que llegaba a tiempo y que debía dirigirme al sótano del mismo para acceder al espacio que estaríamos usando. De entrada el lugar se percibía amplio y agradable. Hay un gran mural al final de las escaleras, también del ruidoso ascensor, que te da la bienvenida con la frase Start. There’s no substitute for experience, muy apropiado en mi opinión, porque Justo después te encontrabas con el banderín publicitario y una pizarra anunciándote la bienvenida a Hive!

Goodie bags

It was hard to focus at first, but my nerves settled when I saw the first familiar faces; still, my attention kept jumping from one thing to another—between the eye-catching food catering, the reception stand with the event's colorful goodie bags, and the people I wanted to greet. I couldn’t focus right away, but after briefly checking in with the organizers, I made it to the booth where the wonderful Fiona was welcoming us with the event’s little gifts and our ID badges. I was so happy to see @tibfox’s partner again, sharing the experience with us. She’s one of those people who stands out because she has such a lovely aura—she doesn’t need to talk to everyone, but she’s always there to brighten our day.

Let’s be clear: one of the most exciting things about attending these events is receiving these little bags full of freebies and promotional stickers from the chain. I’m always a fangirl for this stuff. This year, the predominant color is orange, so we stood out everywhere with our eye-catching tote bags.

Over the past three years that @tibfox has been leading this project, he has managed to surprise us every year with a special little gift. From the first one, I remember the red bottle that still goes everywhere with me; last year it was the Hive umbrella that we all loved; and this year, to make sure we didn’t go unnoticed, we received Hive sunglasses—perfect for the sunny days ahead. Thank you so much!

This year we also received some really fun stickers that were a bit different from the usual, a notebook and pen with a delicate leather-style covering, and a curious fill-in sheet called Community Bingo that took center stage during the first three days of the event. Its purpose was to serve as a way to break the ice between strangers, making it easier to start interacting and motivating us with a series of prizes to be awarded to the fastest or most social participants. This initiative was very popular with the crowd, and although I didn’t set out to complete my own, I had a lot of fun helping others fill in the boxes. I found myself listed several times under the options Hive Project, Has a tattoo, and Has visited 10+ countries—categories I’m actually quite proud of, to be honest.

Fue difícil concentrarse al comienzo, mis ansias se calmaron al ver la primeras caras conocidas pero mi atención saltaba de un lado al otro entre el llamativo catering de comida, el stand de recepcion con las llamativas goodie bags del evento y las personas a las que saludar. No me pude enfocar rápido, pero luego de reportarme brevemente con los organizadores, logré llegar al stand en donde la maravillosa Fiona nos recibía con los regalitos respectivos del evento y el carnet para identificarnos. Me alegró mucho volver a ver a la compañera de @tibfox compartiendo junto a nosotros, es de esas personas que se hace notar por tener un aura tan bonita que no falta le hace hablar con todo el mundo, siempre mente estar y alegrarnos el día.

Vamos a ser claros, una de ls cosas más emocionantes de asistir a estos encuentros es recibir estas bolsitas llenas de regalitos y stickers promocionales de la cadena. Fangirl siempre de esto. Este año el color predominante es el naranja, así que resaltábamos por doquier con nuestras llamativas ToteBags.

Durante estos tres años en que @tibfox se ha encargado de sacar adelante este proyecto, ha logrado sorprendernos cada año con un regalito especial. Del primero recuerdo la botella roja que aún me acompaña a todos lados, el año pasado fue el paraguas de Hive que nos encantó a todos y m, para no pasar desapercibidos este año, llegando las gafas de sol de Hive, perfectas para los soleados días que teníamos por delante. ¡Muchas gracias!

Este año también recibimos unos stickers muy divertidos y diferentes a lo usual, un cuaderno y lapicero con un delicado acabado estilo cuero y una curiosa hoja a rellenar llamada Community Bingo que se llevó bastante protagonismo los primeros tres días del evento. Su finalidad era servir como una vía para romper el hielo entre usuarios desconocidos, comenzando a interactuar más fácilmente y motivándonos con una serie de premios a repartir entre los más rápidos o los más sociales. Esta iniciativa gustó mucho entre el público y aunque yo no me propuse completar el mío, me divertí mucho ayudando a otros a llenar casillas. Me vi varias veces listada en las opciones de Proyecto de Hive, Tiene un tatuaje y Ha visitado 10+ países, todo un orgullo de categorías para ser sincera.

Although... first things first: coffee!

Very important addition: unlimited coffee.

A wonderful initiative brought to the event thanks to @reiseamateur & @der-prophet, who sponsored Hive Open Days Alicante just as they did last year in Graz as part of the Hive Austria community.

I’m sure this little touch saved many of us—myself included—from the exhaustion that built up during the first few days of the event, after hours of travel and hustle just to get there. Of course, we’re incredibly excited to attend events and talks about our ecosystem, but no one is immune to that slight drowsiness that creeps in as the dim lighting takes its toll on attendees—especially after making the rounds of the catering tables, haha. It’s a fact, and we have to face it, so thank you so much, guys, for giving us access to a good dose of caffeine during the event.

On this first day, we started the welcome presentation half an hour later than planned, between sorting out minor technical details and waiting for the occasional latecomer like me. So I had time to make myself a coffee to get properly prepared and join @tibfox on stage.

I remembered this coffee bar from last year’s gathering, so I went straight over to choose the option I’d liked best back then: the LavAzza Italian espresso, though there was plenty to suit every taste.

These are the Senseo automatic coffee makers by Philips, one of the most eco-friendly single-serve coffee makers in my opinion, since there’s no unnecessary waste from plastic or aluminum capsules. They’re just single-serve coffee pods in paper filters—as easy as placing them in the base and pressing a button. Perfect for occasions like this.

Una iniciativa encantadora traída al evento gracias @reiseamateur & @der-prophet, quienes apadrinaron el Hive Open Days Alicante tal como se hizo el año pasado en Graz como parte de la comunidad Hive Austria

Estoy segura que este detalle salvó a muchos, yo incluida, del cúmulo d cansancio durante los primeros días del evento, acumulando horas de viaje y trajín hasta llegar allí. Por supuesto que nos emociona muchísimo asistir a eventos y charlas sobre nuestro ecosistema, pero para nadie es ajeno el ligero adormecimiento que se apodera de uno mientras las luces bajas hacen su efecto en los asistentes, menos aún luego de pasearse por las mesas del catering jajaja. Es un hecho y hay que enfrentarlo, así que muchísimas gracias chicos por permitirnos tener acceso a una buena dosis de cafeína durante el evento.

Este primer día comenzamos la presentación de bienvenida una media hora más tarde de lo planeado, entre el ajuste de pequeños detalles técnicos y la espera del alguno que otro rezagado como yo. Así que me dio tiempo de hacerme un café para prepararme bien y acompañar a @tibfox en el escenario.

Recordaba bien este café bar del encuentro del año pasado, así que me fui directo a elegir la opción que mas me había gustado aquella vez: el espresso italiano de LavAzza, aunque había para todos los gustos.

Se trata de las cafeteras automáticas Senseo de Phillips, una de las cafeteras de monodosis más respetuosas con el ambiente a mi parecer, pues no hay desperdicio innecesario de cápsulas de plástico o aluminio. Son solo monodosis de café en papel de filtro, tan fácil como ponerlas en la base y apretar un botón. Rápido para situaciones como esta.

Welcoming and upcoming activities

One of my responsibilities during this event was to be part of the #HODAlicante host team. It’s a task that would be overwhelming for anyone when compared to the effort, commitment, and responsibility that @tibfox puts in before, during, and after every event he’s organized. It’s incredible to see how he’s shown us the impact an ordinary member of our platform can have if they set their mind to it—an admirable effort that’s hard to match. Thank you for being the source of so much joy, good times, and an example to follow. It’s impossible to keep up with you, but here at #HODAlicante, I came to do my best to help you in any way I could.

Now, what I didn’t expect was to jump on stage as a real-time Spanish interpreter—hahaha—it wasn’t a problem at all, and even though I hadn’t prepared anything in advance, it was fun explaining to the Spanish-speaking audience the details we’d be rolling out over the next few days. I was finding out about everything at the same time I had to translate it, but we made sure there were no discrepancies in the information.

I appreciated all the applause received each time I finished my part. I think we all knew it was an unplanned intervention, and the support from everyone there helped me not even think about what I was doing—I was completely focused on understanding tibfox so I wouldn’t miss any details in the translations, which meant I didn’t give my brain any time to worry or get nervous. Haha, I really liked that. Maybe I have a future as a Spanish interpreter someday—I’d never even considered it before. XD

At this point, I’d like to give a special thanks to @schmidi and @haastrecht, who were our most dedicated photographers and videographers throughout the entire event. Thank you so much, guys 🙌 for sharing your photos with us—especially those moments I couldn’t capture myself because I wasn’t able to use my phone.

Una de mis responsabilidades durante este encuentro, era ser parte del equipo anfitrión del #HODAlicante. Una tarea que a cualquiera le queda grande cuando se le compara con el esfuerzo, compromiso y responsabilidad que invierte @tibfox antes, durante y después de cada evento que se ha dispuesto organizar. Es increíble ver como nos ha demostrado el alcance que puede tener un miembro ordinario de nuestra plataforma si se lo propone, un esfuerzo digno de admiración que difícilmente podría igualarse. Gracias por ser razón de tantas alegrías, buenos momentos y ejemplo a seguir, es imposible seguirte el paso, pero aquí en el #HODAlicante vinimos a intentar hacer lo posible para ayudarte con cada granito de arena posible.

Ahora bien, lo que no me esperaba era saltar al escenario como interprete en español a tiempo real jajaja no fue para nada un problema y aunque no me tenia absolutamente nada preparado, fue divertido ir explicando a la audiencia hispana presente los detalles que iríamos desarrollando durante los próximos días. Me iba enterando de cada cosa al mismo tiempo que debía ir traduciéndolo, pero procuramos que no hubiese discrepancia alguna en la información.

Agradecí todos los aplausos recibidos cada vez que terminaba mi parte, creo que todos sabíamos que era una intervención no planeada y el apoyo de los presentes me ayudó a que ni siquiera pensara en lo que estaba haciendo, sesgaba concentrada en entender a tibfox para no perderme detalle en las traducciones, así que no le di tiempo a mi cerebro para preocupaciones y nerviosismo. Jaja me gusto mucho eso, quizás tenga futuro como intérprete en español alguna vez, nunca me lo había planteado. XD

Aquí quiero hacer un agradecimiento especial a @schmidi y @haastrecht que fueron nuestros fotografos y camarografos mas dedicados durante todos los dias del evento, muchas gracias chicos por compartir estas imagenes con nosotros, sobre todo de esos momentos en que por no poder usar el movil, no lo pude inmortalizar.

We were joined on stage by @ph1102 as part of the organizing team, and we walked the audience through the event schedule, the various activities planned for each day, and the prizes and surprises in store for attendees.

Tibfox didn’t miss a single detail about every element we had prepared and then dedicated a good portion of the presentation to the non-Hive attendees who had come that afternoon, explaining the basics of our blockchain and the fundamentals of blogging on Web3.

It was interesting to have visitors from outside the community, because even though our excitement stemmed from reconnecting with familiar faces, it was great to meet people who came that day out of pure curiosity—knowing absolutely nothing about Hive but eager to understand what it was that made us all so excited.

During the presentation, we explained some fairly basic concepts and promised to delve deeper into that world the following day. We also put into practice the onboarding process prepared by @tibfox for this event, which could be easily followed via the QR code that everyone had on their event attendee badge. From the link leading to the event page, attendees could access various options of interest, including the ability to create a new account—completely free of charge—along with a brief tutorial outlining the steps to complete the process from a mobile device.

En el escenario nos acompañó @ph1102 como parte del equipo organizador y fuimos explicando la programación del evento, las distintas actividades de cada dia y los premios y sorpresas preparados para los asistentes.

Tibfox no perdió detalle alguno sobre vda elemento preparada y luego dirigió buena parte de la presentación a los asistentes externos a Hive que habían acudido esa tarde, explicando las bases de nuestra cadena de bloques y los fundamentos del blogging en web3.

Fue interesante que pudiéramos contar con visitantes de fuera, porque a pesar de que nuestra emoción se basaba en el reencuentro con caras conocidas, resultó grandioso encontrarse con personas que acudieron ese día por Pura curiosidad, sin saber absolutamente nada de Hive pero con ganas de entender que era eso que nos ponía tan contentos a todos.

Durante la presentación explicamos elementos bastante básicos y prometimos adentrarnos más a ese mundo el día siguiente. Además pusimos en práctica el proceso de onboarding preparado por @tibfox para este evento, que podía seguirse muy fácilmente a través del código QR que todos tenían en su carnet como asistentes del evento. Desde el enlace que llevaba a la página del evento, se podía acceder a varias opciones de interés, entre ellas la posibilidad de crear una cuenta nueva, totalmente gratuita, acompañada de un breve tutorial con los pasos a seguir para finalizar el proceso desde un dispositivo móvil.

Catering

After the opening talk wrapped up, we spent a couple of hours networking around the catering table, which—though it caught my eye—couldn’t compete with the constant flow of conversations that, happily, kept me distracted from the food. But I did sample the sweets little by little, all while listening intently to the questions people asked me.

There were two groups of conversations. First, the acquaintances, whom it’s always a pleasure to greet again. They were intrigued by the events that followed the last #BuzzParty last year in Graz, Austria. There, out of nowhere, I decided to make a 180-degree turn in my life by moving to Guatemala, and the truth is that my lack of blog posts has caused some curiosity. I’m so happy to hear them say that I look much happier and more at peace now. This is very true, and it fills me with excitement that it’s so easy to see. I think it’s something I needed to hear to return to my now-new dream reality in Central America with even more enthusiasm and determination.

The other type of conversation involved the curious, eager, and almost insatiable questions that arose from new users who were creating accounts on Hive. They had joined out of curiosity and were eager to absorb every bit of information we could provide. I loved their enthusiasm, but it caused me some conflict to dump so many new concepts into these people’s minds. I’m always overwhelmed by the sense of responsibility when introducing someone new to this world, and I struggle not to worry too much about overwhelming them right away. I kept saying, “Don’t worry, we’ll explain everything a little more tomorrow,” even though I know that didn’t put their minds at ease at all, hahaha—but the truth is, these guys were all wonderful from the very start.

Luego de culminar la charla de apertura, dedicamos un par de horas al networking al rededor de la mesa de catering que, aunque llamaba fuertemente mi atención, no lograba vencer el flujo continuo de conversaciones que, felizmente, me mantenían distraída de la comida. Pero iba poco a poco probando los dulces, mientras escuchaba atenta las preguntas que me llegaban.

Hubo dos grupos de conversaciones. Primero el de los conocidos, a quienes siempre da gusto saludar nuevamente. Estos estaban intrigados por los sucesos que siguieron a la última #BuzzParty el año pasado en Graz, Austria. Allí, como de la nada, se decidió el giro de 180 grados que dio mi vida, decidiendo mudarme a Guatemala, y la verdad es que la falta de blogs por mi parte ha causado algo de intriga. Me alegro muchísimo escucharles decir que me veo mucho más feliz y tranquila ahora. Esto es muy cierto y me llena de emoción que se note fácilmente, creo que es algo que necesitaba escuchar para volver a mi ahora nueva realidad realidad de ensueño en Centroamérica con más ganas y decisión.

El otro tipo de conversaciones fueron las curiosas, ansiosas y casi insaciables cuestiones que afloraban en los nuevos usuarios que se estaban creando cuentas en Hive. Habían asistido movidos por la curiosidad y comenzaban a querer decorar toda pieza de información que pudiéramos proporcionar. A mi me encantó el entusiasmo pero me causaba algo de conflicto volcar tanto concepto nuevo en la mente de esta personas. Siempre me abruma la idea de responsabilidad al momento de adentrar a alguien nuevo dentro de este mundo y me cuesta no preocuparme de más por saturarles inmediatamente. De mi boca salía constantemente un “No te preocupes, mañana lo explicaremos todo un poco más”, aunque se que esto no les dejaba para nada tranquilos jajaja la verdad es que estos chicos se mostraron todos maravillosos desde el primer momento.

Now, let’s get to what we really came for! Let’s talk a little about the Spanish cuisine tasting we enjoyed on the first day of the event.

Since I needed to perk up as the afternoon wore on, I started my tasting with something sweet, trying the lovely profiteroles, which looked absolutely delicious and weren’t at all overly sweet. They had a good balance of pastry and cream. Then, for those who didn’t want something so heavy, there were small cups of fresh fruit set out as dessert, and for those who weren’t strictly vegan, plates with cheese, grapes, and nuts were available.

But anyway, let’s continue the rundown, as indicated by the improvised information sign on a paper cup, with the vegetarian section, because as we all know by now, @tibfox always makes sure to take attendees’ special diets into account and not leave anyone out when it comes to enjoying a snack or meal.

Since there was a good selection of vegetarian dishes, I didn’t hold back from trying them. It’s important not to leave people without options, but not everyone was there that day, so I was able to take advantage of that. I have to admit that several of the items I liked best were in this section: the colorful wraps, the green gyoza, the potato omelet, and the artichoke salad. All of these were hits for me. I understand that several of them were created by @tibfox himself—maybe not made from scratch, but at least he chose which items to offer—so congratulations on the selection!

¡Ahora sí, a lo que realmente veníamos! Hablemos un poco sobre la degustación de la cocina española por la que nos paseamos durante el primer día del evento.

Como yo necesitaba espabilarme al comenzar a caer la tarde, empecé mi degustación por la parte dulce, probando los preciosos profiteroles que tenían una pinta maravillosa y no resultaron para nada empalagosos. Tenían buen ratio de masa y crema. Luego, para los que no quisieran algo tan pesado, habia vasitos de fruta fresca dispuestos como postre y, para el que no fuese estrictamente vegano, platos que queso, uvas y frutos secos a disposición.

Pero bueno sigamos el recuento, tal como lo indicaba el cartel informativo improvisado en un vaso de cartón, por la zona vegetariana, pues como todos sabemos ya, @tibfox siempre se encarga de tener en cuenta ya las dietas especiales de los asistentes y no dejar de lado a nadie al momento de ir a disfrutar un snack o comida.

Como había buena cantidad de productos vegetarianos, no me limite de probarlos, es importante no dejar a la gente sin opciones, pero ese día no estábamos todos y pude aprovechar esa ventaja. Tengo que admitir que varias de las opciones que más me gustaron estaban en esta sección: los enrollados coloridos, las gyozas verdes, la tortilla de patata y la ensaladilla de alcachofas. Todos estos triunfaron para mí, tengo entendido que varios de estos fueron creación del mismo @tibfox, quizá no preparándolo desde cero, pero al menos eligiendo que elementos ofrecer, así que mi enhorabuena por la selección!

Then we could move on to the other dishes that included meat or fish. Here, of course, the Serrano ham was the first to disappear—a must-have that didn’t go unnoticed by anyone. I was very happy because ham is one of the everyday things in Spain that I miss the most, Iberian ham and cheeses. We also had an interesting variety of cheeses to snack on, including aged cheeses, among which the truffle-flavored one was the most popular.

We also had some lovely mini burgers that were heartier than they looked; a couple of these felt more than enough as a main course—though of course with their respective sides, like the Russian salads arranged nearby. I really liked the tuna Russian salad, and although I also quite liked the vegetarian version with artichokes, this was the one I went back for more than once.

One thing you can’t miss if you’re in Spain is croquettes; we had ham and seafood varieties, both with a soft flavor but nice and crispy on the outside. Other options included curry sandwiches, stuffed croissants, and puff pastry saladitos.

Luego podríamos pasar al resto de platos que contenían carne o pescado. Aquí por supuesto lo que más rápido se acabo fue el jamón Serrano, un imprescindible que a ninguno le pasó desapercibido, yo estaba muy contenta porque el jamón es de las cosas cotidianas en España que más extraño, el jamón ibérico y los quesos, que de quesos también teníamos una variedad interesante para ir picando, quesos curados entre los cuales el trufado fue el más exitoso.

Teníamos además unas preciosas mini hamburguesas que eran más contundentes de lo que aparentaban, un par de estas se sentían más que suficiente como plato principal, eso si con sus respectivos acompañantes claro, como las ensaladillas dispuestas cerca. La ensaladilla de atún fue todo un éxito y aunque la versión vegetariana de alcachofas también me gustó bastante, esta fue l que repetí más de una vez.

Algo que no puede faltar si estamos en España son las croquetas, las teníamos de jamón y frutos del mar, ambas de sabor ligero, pero bien crocantes por fuera. Otras opciones fueron sándwiches de Curri, croissans rellenos y los saladitos rellenos de hojaldre.

In this photo, by the time I went to try the puff pastry saladitos, there weren’t many options left to sample, but I managed to get to them to round out the tasting for this blog.

Shortly after 5 p.m., @palomap3 arrived; she’d been on her way since early in the day. She joined us a little later but in time to introduce herself to the new users who had so many questions for us in Spanish, as well as to those digital friends she’d finally come to meet in person!

A couple of hours flew by like that, and between chatting and tasting food, it was almost 7:30 p.m., so we decided to pack up a bit and coordinate with those who had gone back to their hotels to rest before dinner.

It was a lovely post-event moment, chatting and taking photos to immortalize this experience. I’ve included a couple of them at the end, after catching up with @livinguktaiwan and being super happy about the chocolates she brought us as gifts ❤️ Thank you so much for taking a little time to think of us when deciding to bring us these gifts—it feels so nice to be kept in mind. The same goes for @honeydue, who arrived just in time to wrap up Ulab and take us all out to dinner at the next stop, hahaha. We didn’t have time to take a photo before leaving the venue, but the excitement of our reunion was very real.

Oh, of course! I can’t properly wrap up the day without a photo of the part of the team that managed to get together on the first day: @ph1102, who, along with @mipiano, handled all the on-site logistics for the event since they lived closest to the venue, thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into this, and of course, @palomap3 and @tibfox, who managed all the logistics behind each activity so we could enjoy a successful gathering. You are all wonderful people; my sincerest thanks and admiration. Thank you for everything!!

En esta foto, al momento de ir a probar los saladitos de hojaldre, ya quedaban pocas opciones para degustar, pero logré llegar a ellos para completar la degustación adecuada en este blog.

Poco después de las 17h llegó @palomap3 que venía de camino desde temprano, se nos unió un poco más tarde pero a tiempo de presentarse ante los nuevos usuarios que tantas preguntas tenían para nosotras en español y también con esos amigos digitales que vino a desvirtualizar por fin!

Así se nos fueron un par de horas y entre charlas y probadera de comida estaban por dar las 19:30 así que nos propusimos a recoger un poco y ponernos de acuerdo con los que habían ido a descansar antes de la cena a sus hoteles.

Fue un bonito momento post evento, conversando y haciéndonos fotos que inmortalizaran esta experiencia. Dejo un par de ellas al final, luego de ponerme al día con @livinguktaiwan y súper contentas por los chocolates de regalo que nos trajo ❤️ muchísimas gracias por tomarte un ratito de tu tiempo en pensar en nosotras al decidir traernos estos obsequios, se siente súper bonito que le tengan a uno en mente. Lo mismo @honeydue que llegó justo para cerrar el Ulab y llevarnos a todos a cenar en la siguiente parada jajaja no hubo tiempo de hacernos foto antes de salir del recinto, pero la emoción del reencuentro fue muy vívida.

¡Ah, por supuesto! Solo puedo despedir el día propiamente con una foto de la parte del team que logró reunirse el primer día, @ph1102 que junto a @mipiano se encargaron de toda la logística in situ para el evento, por ser los que vivían más cerca, muchas gracias por todas las horas y gestiones invertidas aquí y claro, @palomap3 y @tibfox que gestionaron toda la logística detrás de cada actividad para que pudiéramos disfrutar de un exitoso encuentro. Todos ustedes son personas maravillosas, mis más sincero agradecimiento y admiración. Gracias por todo!!
