Check In Thai - Thai food in Novi Sad, Serbia

You know those small food places that you discover by accident and they become your go to instantly? That exactly how we found and fell in love with Check In Thai!

On a random day in May, while we were running errands in the city center, we came across a sign that caught our eye since it's about Thai food! It was pointing at the passage and we went to check it out. It was a very small place, just enough to prepare food and with the option to sit outside but since we were in a rush, we got food "to go" and that's how we fell in love with this place.

Since out first visit, I think they added a couple more dishes. You can see that it's a small but selected number of dished you can try and it's prepared by two lovely people (my guess is husband and wife), it's always fresh and yummy and it keeps us coming back for more! Discovering this place in May left us plenty of time to stop by and eat here, sitting outside, enjoying the nice weather and delicious food.

As I mentioned when I wrote about another restaurant we love called Pad Thai, my husband and I both have our favorite meals that we order most of the time - his is Pad Thai and mine is Chicken cashew nut! Compared to the other restaurant, prices are a lot lower and portions are slightly smaller but still enough to leave with a full belly! :)

As we approached colder months, we decided to try some soups and yet again, we both found our favorites - hubby always goes for the spicy one and I prefer sweet & sour combination. There's nothing better than a nice, warm, delicious soup served with rice on a cold day! Unfortunately, since there's only outdoor seating area, we had to skip stopping by a few times when it was really cold/windy/rainy and we took that opportunity to check out a few other places, but we are both looking forward to nicer weather so we can go back to one of our favorite places!

Do you like Thai food? What is your favorite? Let me know in the comments! :)
